How are you guys editing FightFx files??? (Read 252 times)

How are you guys editing FightFx files???

How is this possible? Everytime I open fighter factory a fight.def, and try to go to the animations of fightfx area, it crashes. How does one edit these? I remmeber being able to do it some time ago before I returned to mugen, not sure whats wrong now.

open the files individually in a new empty project
so.. it goes like .. new empty project (in fighter factory)
then in sprites> open sff. file
then  load the anim file in the editor(you can use both the visual one or the code editor since the anim file is text)
and thats it..
also make sure that if you try to run mugen from fighter factory, use a working character and not the "empty" project with the fightFX files
you can have both things open but choose the char when play testing..

I don't think FF works for fightfx files, you'll probably need older programs like MCM for the SFF, AIR and/or SND to modify them or to create a new one

it works.. the only crash scenario i can think off is using old fighter factory to try to open the new .sff file from newer mugen version ( the one with png support)
