I'm not too sure which animation I should use for the air version. Any suggestions?
From the video I linked, maybe the final kick of Shinku Tatsumaki, at 0'47.

Instead of Tatsumaki, I gave him the KOF knockdown attacks (y+b).
??? Do you mean that you decided to code knockdown first, before Tatsumaki, contrary to what you announced ? Or do you mean that you just scrapped Tatsumaki (which is a very bad idea) ?

Yes, I meant that I decided to code knockdown first, before Tatsumaki, contrary to what I announced. Sorry about that.

About that final kick of S.Tatsumaki. It's an edit right?

Cybaster

Yeah, I think it's an edit. Maybe you can find the base in Ken's sprites, shouldn't be too hard to headswap.

Leon Belmont

If I'm looking clearly enough, it's actually a bit more work than a headswap (Ken has something like it but it's on the ground). I'll look into it, but for now I'll settle with the jump towards forward/roundhouse animation. Truth is my spriting skills are virtually non-existent, even if it's just a small edit.

No further (worth to be mentioned) updates tonight. Lots of school work.

Leon Belmont

Thanks to my tendency to stray away from my usual stuff;

Kim Kaphwan (mainly KOF2002)
- Accurate velocities, almost accurate CLSNs (they aren't pinpoint accurate) and accurate timings. Thanks to Vans for how to find accurate velocities.
- Sprites thanks to CCIronMugen (save for stance, walking & jumping HK which I had to rip myself).
- His movelist is like 2002's minus Hou'ou Hiten Kyaku which I will not include because I don't like it, Kuuchuu Hou'ou Kyaku because you can do the DM version in the air anyway, and Zero Kyori Hou'ou Kyaku, he will have Hiden Hou'ou Kyaku instead.
- I might give him his NGBC chain, which is Sanren Geki to Ryusei Raku.
- Most of his system stuff (negative states), including Skill Bar system are courtesy of Vans. I purposely did this so my character(s) can fight Vans' on exactly the same level without much (if any) room for imbalance. Something like a full-game environment.

Kim may lose certain benefits on public release depending on Vans' standpoint on me just straight out copy+pasting half his Statedef -2. If that's the case, Kim will lose everything related to XI on public release, and may not even have a proper counter, cornerpush or dizzy system until I can pull that off properly and buglessly myself.

As for Evil Ryu, a few minor updates since last month:
- He has a normal and EX mode. Normal mode will have the usual shoto stuff (play SFA3 and choose Evil Ryu) and EX mode will have the movelist I mentioned before. I revised that movelist so it's less original but more tidier and not straight out stupid in some ways. They will be balanced so no mode will be purposefully stronger than the other.
- I changed his default palette to Gouki's color scheme, like how ERyu uses Gouki's colors in SFA. His old palette is available in EX mode.
- As for actual progress, I have Tatsumaki and Ashura Senpuu done for both modes, Denka Hadouken done for EX mode. Though I will have to find the suitable effects and everything so that Denka doesn't look exactly like a normal Hadouken.

Cybaster

Kim : Nice !!! Continuing your old WIP I suppose ? I was loking forward to your version and Tempest's one, I'm glad to see that at least one will be finished.
Nothing much to say I guess, except "good luck". And Vans stated he had no problem with you taking his stuff, but yeah...

Specifics ?

Normal Tatsumaki works like SFA Evil Ryu's. EX mode Tatsumaki hits once for Short/Forward, twice for Roundhouse. EX mode's Ashura Senpuus travel faster but less distance.

I'm going to have to go over a lot of CLSNs at a later date as well.

Leon Belmont

More from the department of no one cares but I post it anyway and note that I'm very busy IRL these days keeping in touch with friends and studying for the next semester of school so don't expect any speed.

Half-way through update for Ken. Fixed the few things mentioned. I have the sounds (Thanks, Scal), need to implement them.

I tweaked all of E.Ryu's CLSNs to match my preference. Not much else done at this time. I need to update him overall to my current coding standards. Hopefully I won't break anything on the way.

Added Neri Chagi and Dora Yup Chagi to Kim. Hien Zan coming next. Also updated his system thanks to Vans he's the man.

Also, if anyone has ArtMoney tables for any SF2 or SF3, it will be great help atm, thanks in advance.

One more thing, according to T.Akiba's page, Ken's fierce DP (or flaming DP) from SSF2/SSF2T has 0 start-up. What are people's opinion on this?
