I search everywhere through google and can't find it. I'm tying to make a character for mugen and he is all done. But his hyper, I wanted it to be him attacking the enemy multiple times before he does a final punch and knocks them to the wall. I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Can anyone help?

P.S.  I don't know if this is the right plae to post this, so please don't be mad at me...

Either multiple hitdefs (if the hits are different) or make the same hitdef trigger multiple times (if every hit is the same) or a combination of these.
If you want him to do different attack animations then you will also need to use changeanim and change to the next anim when one finishes.

If every attack he does is completely different then just use one state for each attack and change into the next after finishing the previous one.

Couldn't be a bit less captain obvious?

On topic. You could make the hitdef you use on the super trigger different times by using different triggers such as trigger1 = animelem= ; trigger2 = animelem =; etc
depending on which frame of the animation you want it to hit, and for the final hit you just need to make a new hitdef.
you can find me on discord as jaede_ but be forewarned I do not talk about MUGEN nor my creations or anyone else's much these days.

If your spacebar is broken, couldn't you use a less obnoxious replacement? Like periods?

Or use your computer's on screen keyboard in the Ease of access menu

like the others have told you, you will have to use several triggers with several "animelem" parameters if you want the same move do several hits...

if you want to change to another move however, you will have to use a "Changestate" parameter:

for example:

[State 105, Crouching to Standing]
type = changestate
trigger1 = animelem = 18
value = 12
ctrl = 1

this is the end of my State 105 (which is the state for the Hop Backward animation)...in this case, i'm basically saying to go from the State 105 (Hop Backward animation) to State 12 (Crouch to Stand animation) because this is the end of my Hop Backward move: the very last sprite of the animation is the "animelem = 18" (18th sprite in the animation)

hope this helped clarify a little

Oh god, why don't you send your keyboard to repairs? :gonk:
About locking the enemy, there are multiple ways to do it, but I suggest you to use superpause, since then, the other players are also locked and thus they don't interfere with the attack of your character.
