Hey Shamrock, quick question. How do you add jpg compression to a gif?

Use gimp. Save each image as one jpg, go to file open and open all jpg as layers, then save as gif, click option for animated gif, and export the image as indexed (or index beforehand).

Note, you may need to play with the order of the layers. Mine imported backwards.
