Wow, that looks really nice, I can see you're basing some animations on Vegeta, which is also nice.

Hopefully this will become a project, it looks very promising so far.

Sprites and overall style its great, but dont use Vegeta to much as a base or he will end with the same base attacks.
Keep it up, sword attacks wont be easy :D

Balthazar will prbably have a lot to comment on, since he's the spriter and "creator of Z2 spriting style". On my end, I'll just say these are pretty good, albeit a little static on some parts, and hope to see more soon. :)

thank you for your comments, the sprites of vegeta will only be used for certain trips, regarding the sword we'll see what happens I inspirai console games like shin budokai.

I don't know if it's Z2 inspired or just 2D Budokai with an applied palette.

I would change some sprite and some animations which I find quite ugly and I'll give you a list of commands that he will have

Not bad at all, but in the cases of animating the dashing sprites, I can see you edit the jacket and pants; in these cases I would normally redraw the whole clothes to have the wind effect on it be nicer.
Also, be careful you're not copying the lightsource of the Budokai rips you are using. Keep it up.

^ what he said, I also don't think the sword should be moving on his dash. His sword strap is clipped onto him and it's like a tight seat belt meaning that thing isn't going to be shifting around all that much. Good work though.

I would have the motion either be greater or smaller, one of the extremes, I can understand how a swinging sword on his back would look good on animation but it needs more movement to look really good.

Why ssj trunks? Why not normal form? Just because so far we only have normal goku and vegeta z2.
