Another bizarre thing I've noticed with these 2K2 UM conversion is that SDM and HSDMs share the same requirements (3000 power or 1000 for MAX mode). I'd maybe change the power level for the SDM to 2000 or retain the Low Life requirement for the HSDM(s).

This is a design choice:

Basically "you're all free now" to have unrestrained fun.


That's also why the opening post says "from THE KING OF FIGHTERSTM" and not "from 2002 UM"

First Vans came back, now Koopa announced by one of my favorite spriters... you guys make that weird period much better, thanks :)

I love that conversion, nice work as usual!

Here is my feedback:
- Throws are very difficult to perform when holding backwards
- It looks like cheap KO is not implemented but triggered
- Time frames of cancels from normal moves to themselves seem too wide, maybe you should decrease them a bit to make the cancels harder like in the game?
- There is a missing move sound for qcb + punch
- Maybe intentional: no voices at all during qcfx2 + punch?
- Animation of P2 bouncing in the air (first time) looks weird when thrown with kick, like if the axis was not correct

And for those that prefer the older voices, here is SND patch I made. Expect some sounds to be a bit off due to non matching timings coming from differences between the 2 voice sets.

Damn, 2020 is definitely the year of the returns on MUGEN. :v
Glad that Koop released new stuff, his version of Takuma is amazing. Thanks to share here Walt. ;)

From what i recognized, the voices from the original snd are from KOF '98 OL right?
I like it but i'm still prefering the classic too. So thanks Scal for the patch.

I have found a glitch when fighting against Bishamon by Varo Hades and 3ha:

This Bishamon's moves is his Hane Ha then followed by F, D, DF, 2P.  This problem happens to all of Koopakoot's (newest), Vans, Websta, Nazo etc's KOF characters. It might has to do with Yillion_SystemG.cns file.
and also, no "Counter" message when Takuma's attack counter his opponent before his opponent land attack on him?

Here's the only place so far where the character has been officially released by Team KoopaKoot TM
The Voice's origin is KOF ALL STAR, his latest official appearance with new voices. Koops just wanted to add a fresh twist.

Oh i see. Still digging the classic voice but indeed it's great that KOF ALL STAR voices are having good use now, not only for this Takuma but also for the recent edits that Kirishima released. Makes me happy that you fellas enjoyed my showcase. :)

Ah, that's related to KOF Accuracy. There's an interesting story behind this one!
