this is also just a temporary solution as we moved the forums to a serve which normally serves other things
but as the old server was dying on it's own, Valodim decided it would be best to temporally move it, today this server hat a little hiccup due to unknown reasons but it did not seem to have reoccurred
lets hope the original hoster can sort things out and get the machine running again until then this solution has to serve

yeah the sites all wonky. I just got finished reading that merged thread and getting confused.
also I've noticed some other anomalies and refrained from posting in those thread so I don't come of dumbassed if the thread was obviously glitched and over looked it.

can some one give a full report on what was wrong with the other server by the way?

This started Jan 7th.  Was anything done/added about that time that could cause problems?  Did you happen to check one of the exploit databases to see if something new was discovered?

plz re-read his post again, as he said nothing of the sort.

however, it does beg an interesting question. what is up with all the affiliated network websites.

That one is easy enough if you've been keeping track. The network member sites are on the server that's buggered. We're on something else right now, it's only running the forum, not the network sites. We'll get those back when/if the old server is sorted out.

I also wish i had backed up my index.html file because the one i have is rather old.

If we are going to continue to have problems like this last one. maybe we should make an off shoot forums that's no on this server.
