Let's revive this topic!I won't post images of the rabbit I ate today. Forgot to take pictures. Instead, pasta with dried tomatoes, chili, spices, shrimps and truffled olive oil :
Cybaster if you had a dinner party and was serving that, I would honestly fly to your house and most possibly steal the whole meal.
Haha, thanks guys. It's a Chinese friend in New Zealand who taught me and my girlfriend how to make this recipe. Talking about international. It's super easy to do, and not very expensive depending on how much shrimps cost at your place. It was a 10€ meal for 2 people, basically. Here's the recipe :- Cut some dried tomatoes so they're no too big anymore and can be mixed to pasta easily.- Remove the shell from the shrimps, or buy them without shells if you're lazy.- Cook your shrimps in a frying pan with some olive oil.- Mid-cooking, add the dried tomatoes. Also add the chilli. It's better if you have fresh or dried one that you cut, but you can use powder too, not a problem.- Cook your regular 8 minutes spaghetti. - Remove the water from the pan and put back the spaghetti in the pan.- Put all the shrimps and tomatoes in the pan with the pasta, add some more olive oil and stear on top of a light fire. Add some salt and pepper.- When all looks nice, serve. It's ready. I happened to use some truffled olive oil because I have some at home, but you don't necessarily have to.I added some herbs too (basil), but you don't need to.
