My first "Boss" character. Yes, it is definitely possible for any character to dodge Zero's attacks perfectly. Especially if you're an NES Mega Man scaled character.

Unlike in Mega Man Unlimited, Z-Prototype uses a Z-saber, jumps higher, and doesn't kill in one hit (It makes sense story wise though) instead he takes up 100 - 300 damage (He can't combo at all) of health.

Technology hasn't advanced enough for  any 20XX and past weapons to do any damage.

The only ones who can take down this robot are the Maverick hunters themselves.

Nothing can beat Z-Prototype but fast reactions and timing itself.

Can you survive Z-prototype for 30 seconds?

Please do report any problems. As far as I know, this character has some problems.

Bugs known:

- P2 intro is oddly aligned with the capsule while p1 is correctly aligned together with the capsule.

- For some reason, some characters attacks would completely ignore Zero's inability of getting thrown.

- X, Volnutt and Zero can kill Z-prototype by standing still and shooting at him and Zproto does nothing about it. Don't know what to do about this.

(Don't worry, this is just a practice for me. I will continue with making Pokemon characters)

Default BGM should be removed. Instead, Zero's theme from Unlimited plays once you start moving.

This is inaccurate by all means. The uppercut isn't even using correct frames. Zero isn't supposed to have a sabre here to begin with.

Well, I am not trying to make this 10O% accuratr like others would do. The reason he has a saber is to give him a bit more variety of attacks. He had one as a playable character anyways. Also the sprite sheet I found on the internet had no uppercut sprite nrither any other sprites other than his walking, punching and jumping animations.. Sorry. I am not an accuracy person.

Turned out the spritesheet I had was an older version of Z-Prototype. So I found the sprite for his uppercut.

Also, I was able to give him a new move too. Plus, Z-proto is slower than before. Standing does not hurt his opponents either.

(Please keep in mind, this isn't supposed to be source accurate. Why? Now that Zero is defeatable by waiting for him to malfunction, I think it is necessary to give him more attacks to make him seem like he does more than just jump around and fly into Mega Man)

Its a well-made custom character, I prefer him with physical aggressive moves (like in X4 cutscene) But this character is fan-made for a fan game, and for me the author can do everything he wants in his char ^^

I wonder how the sprite/illustration have many aspects of this picture from X5 ending (one of them rsrsrs):
