I feel sorry for Vriska, because she doesn't seem to have a lot of self control. She obviously felt bad about killing Aradia, but she continued to egg Tavros on and got him into a confrontation he had no chance of winning. And as she said, she could've easily ended the confrontation without much injury to Tavros. But she killed him. And now she feels remorseful. She needs to start thinking about the consequences of her actions. But since the trolls have two of their own going on murderous rampages, I think it would be best if they stayed on her good side right now.

Of course I feel WAY more sorry for Tavros and Aradia, cause they're the ones ones who died and all.

Vriska opening up like this is a good start to helping understand her character better, but I'm still confused about her overall motive.  I mean, intentionally creating a nigh-unbeatable god-like enemy just so she can try to defeat him herself, risking an entire universe and everyone it it in the process?  Why?  I don't get what that's supposed to prove or accomplish.

I kinda saw this coming somewhere, especially after Terezi reacted to Dave's death the way she did. The Scourge Sisters' plans to troll Dave/John is starting to affect their personalities as well.

EDIT:

Person Man: Don't forget that even if Vriska hadn't interfered, things would have still turned out exactly the same. And in today's reading, you could possibly surmise that her being as involved as she was in the kids' session is a form of a self-therapy.

I know it was going to happen anyway, you're right.  What I don't get is why she was so adamant on making sure it was her fault that it did.

Well, that last batch of updates answered all my questions about Vriska pretty thoroughly.  I just wish she'd stop bouncing back and forth between 'bluh bluh huge bitch' and 'tragic victim of circumstance.'  I can't tell if I'm supposed to hate or pity her anymore.

i knew it i knew it i knew it aradia's ability to communicate with the dead and godtier-dream-penetration combined with the rarely-alluded to afterlife implied with jadesprite and one of the jade-feferi dreams would take the edge off of all of the troll deaths by removing them from the main story while still allowing the characters to serve and interaction with other characters because an afterlife is a central element of most creation stories as hussie said he was analyzing and it would be yet another mirroring of problem sleuth and it would yet another twist unexpected while still serving and not undermining the story after all of these deaths and and and and and and and and
