I don't think it will work, unless you are thinking of the 80's Saturday morning line ups or the 90's like,He-ManShe-RaPopeyeThe New Adventures of Mighty MouseCaptain PlanetCaptain N and the Video Game MastersSuper Mario Bros NBC cartoon seriesGI-JoeTransformersPirates of Dark Water.... and the list goes on.If I were you, I would google up most of the cartoons starting from 1982-1995 to see what I can think up. That's is a good idea to start Toonami.There are also Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto ( ), and quite of few sprites that are fighters that are part of Toonami. But, just remember to reference more as well. Maybe that will work out.
LOLz I did say the list I posted, what ever not been mad and whatever you guys request i don't think i can make every one but I'll try EDIT: haven't He-Man, Popeye, Transformers all ready been made i know He-man is all ready a wip by somebody EDOT2: Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, Naruto have been made so much I might as well make High Res sprite patch of what out there

People seem to be getting confused with Toonami Mugen and thinking its only the old Toonami shows so Animation Wars would probly be more suitable for now.And sprites look good, good luck with your project.
I like the name: Animation wars. I saw the first page. I like the sprites and all, but was a bit dissapointed of not seen any of the chars requested by me, especially Mon*star "The Planet Master". I know making a char is a lot of hard work, but well... I still think it would be nice to see a version of your Mon*star... Well, considering the fact that the game is called ANIME/ANIMATION Wars Mugen, I think you should start with characters from Anime/Animations first, and then video games after... But whatever, Final Fantasy is a nice place to start, I suppose.As for my requests, I'd like to see Medabee from Medabots.
well I might as well start with Sephiroth first then he is the most wanted char out there I might make a Dissidia version with all the Dissidia moves XD seei ng there is no better base also thing of making Squall next seeing he is the second most wantedand i see Medabee from Medabots I think I seen some at Mugen Infantry report some of those made all ready but if ya want I'll add him in
