For Vs. fan it really depends. If it's just Marvel Vs Capcom or Capcom Vs SNK then yeah I agree, but if it's MK Vs DC or Tatsunoko Vs Capcom then add the pic with the Smash Bros. fan picture.
But Tatsunoko Vs Capcom was aimed at children who didn't know who either of those two were so they kind of introduced them a bit with their storylines.

KI had chombos and a very tought of chombo system going for it too, which made it unique regardless of actual crappiness.
Speaking of which, back in the days of Super Smash Bros Melee, many players that used Shiek were Black people.I saw lots of them at tourneys.
