Lifebars won't work on EVE 1.1

I'm using the 1.1 version of the old EVE screenpack since I need the extra space for characters, and modern HD screenpacks don't look well with 4:3 stages. However, I'm not a fan of the bold yellow lifebars with the Soul Calibur announcer.

I'm trying to use this lifebar which says its for 1.1 or 1.0 (as well as 640x480):

Though when I use it, it's far too big, and the font is black instead of blue, which takes away from the aesthetic:

I've tried changing the resolution and local coord, but it seems like I'd have to do some editing in Fighter Factory to get it to work properly, despite them being the same resolution. (At least they are supposed to be.) Is there anything else I can try to get this to work?

And on an unrelated note, if anyone knows of another 4:3 screenpack with 700+ slots that suits modern MUGEN better, I'd like some more recommendations as I am a little burnt out on EVE from the last 17 years.

I guess this screenpack resolution is 320x240, as well as lifebar.

As far as I know, these lifebars are designed for 640x480 screenpacks/motifs (and they actually come from a different screenpack actually), and Everything vs Everything is 320x240 screenpack. If your lifebars' resolution is different than screenpack's, lifebars can be either smaller (for example: 320x240 lifebars on 640x480 screenpack) or bigger (for example: 640x480 lifebars on 320x240 screenpack).
