Post any and all CVS styled edits/original sprites in this thread.

Theme threads are designed to stop cluttered up boards and to help get your sprites seen and critiqued.  We understand that not everyone is a professional spriter and that some people's skills are not as high as others.  Do not let this deter you from posting!

Just remember, we're all here to have fun and learn!

Cracker Jack:
<-Prodigy
For the most part I am happy with its look.

Eagle:

From the ninja thread
Anatomy's bad on shoulders and legs. I'm sure I can fix up the shoulders, but the legs I am stumped on. I don't know if it's me or the possibility that original sprite artist drew his legs out of proportion to begin with. Any guidance on what to do or what exactly is wrong would very appreciated.

Ruby Heart:

Barely started this one. Just showing what I am currently working on.

These are old edits (like the others I posted), but will fit with this topic, too ;)

SNK guys: Joe Kusanagi (from AODK) and Ryo Sakazaki/2nd Mr. Karate (from Buriki One, old unfinished WIP)

Final Fight guys: Guy (CVS manual resized with FF3 look) and Lucia (FF3)

Capcom guys: Joe from SF1 and Adon from SFZ series (CVS manual resize + recolor, old unfinished WIP)

I like these theme threads, makes me still editing stuff for fun and for show like old times :P

Self Sprite (CVS)
Wow, this is old.  Stupidly obvious this came from a CVS Rock Howard.  Very little modification here, the shoulders, the collar, the arms and the hair, that's about it.  Don't even have this shirt anymore.
Crimson Viper (SF4->CVS)
Nothing really interesting here, it's just made from parts of King.  I started off with an idea for a Burning Kick edit based on the Tornado Kick, but it was too hard finding ideal parts to frankensprite her cross-legged, so I settled for a HP Thunder Knuckle.  I might come back to it later, along with a Seismo Hammer.  Not happy with the glasses, and haven't settled on a good skin tone to use yet.
I'm a little bit happier with the Burning Kick; it was a touch more challenging to put together.  I'm still not happy with the way the eyes look under the glasses, but I'm very happy with the combination of leg parts used to make the cross-legged splits.  Not only that, this time I remembered she wears full-fingered gloves.  I'll fix the Knuckle one some time.
Sub Zero (MK->CVS)
I'm particularly proud of how the ninja garb turned out, especially the top part.  I might add some texture to it, though; it looks kind of plain as is, but then again that could be the generic MK design direction.
Scorpion (MK->CVS)
Just because you can't do one without the other.  Absolutely pointless exercise, aside from the rope dart serving as good color laddering practice.
Poison (3S->CVS)
Another first attempt, this time converting Third Strike stuff.  It hasn't turned out that bad, although it was more work to fix up than I thought It'd be.  This is also the first time I've bothered to keep under 16 colours, too, something else that was harder than I thought.  So much for her red heels.
Lili (Tekken->CVSish)
This was my first real shot at converting a render to a sprite.  While it still looks alright, I'm not quite happy with how it turned out.  Lili's head looks kind of narrow, and the whole thing looks sort of blocky on any sort of light background.  All in all a noble first effort, but I expect to be able to put this to shame by the end of the year.
Raiden (MK->CVSish)
Figured I'd continue the MK theme I had going before.  My first shot at following Kiwi's tutorial, but drawing in general is a pain in the ass with a mouse.  The colours are very blocky, I know, and I'll probably add more detail to it in the future, such as clothing folds around the ankles and wrists.
Crying Wolf (MGS4->CVSish)
I'm probably most proud about the lighting and sheen effects I've got going over her back.  If I had to fix something up it'd be the legs, though.

Is it seriously that damn hard to repost your stuff in this thread?
Saying, "Dude, check out my stuff on this thread" isn't what this thread is for.

I suck at this.

For an edit it's not so bad. The belts and shoe details are flat and the normal belt is drawn crooked. The buckle on his collar should only be 1 pixel thick on each side.

SWEET Zero... But he looks way too tall.

Love the Rock, though. I kinda want a set of sprites for him now.
