ClayFighter comes to MUGEN!! (X-Mas is coming!!) (Read 6841682 times)

OK, made combo system and fatality system on Jim, only need to test the system and start to make claytalities... and the Insane Combos (the Ultras of CF 63 1/3), of course ;)

Also, Jim is now 100% compatible with Shadowtak characters, incluided claytalities (like Blue Suede Goo's "Haircut" claytality).

So now at last I got internet in my room, I can post regularily new shots and videos of Jim's advances. Tonight the first video I debt you months ago and some shots of Shadowtak's compatibility ;)

Yeah, your favourite worm is back, fellas!! :D

OK, combo system is ready, and the Fatality system is, too. Now starting to code the last part: Claytalities and Insane Combos :D

Jim is almost ready, and also seeing the FX part, soon I'll comment you about that ;)

No custom sparks?
Not for now, but Orbinaut makes some FX rips, I hope they could work. But at least all CF common sounds are already incorporated on Jim ;)

Seeing Ahrimanes' B.Orchid, he already implemented KI phrases and a system it counts the hits to put the phrases, so I guess Jim could be a combo counter (with the hilarious phrases) after all :P Ripped a few ones (like 4-5) and the COMBO BREAKER! one, then clean, resize them and apllying 256 to add in the SFF... wish me luck on this!!

Yes, I'm coding Insane Combos and Claytalities, as well ripping some sprites I need... but that uses time. I prefer to post when I get a good advance to show, but Jim still on works ;)

EAT COW!!

OK, back to work on Jim, now just focusing in Claytalities (that stuff is harder than I though) and making the one in this gif: Cow From Sky. Also ripping sprites I need for Jim, especially certain gethits and a last pose (the win where he shoots himself)

And I was thinking in making 2 versions of Jim, the accurate one and an Arrange mode, just with their moves, specials and supers (with no combos, Insanes and Claytalities). I'll make a poll with this, if it got enough votes, I'll do it...

I'm advancing more with this Claytality, especially when I discovered there's a common state for the squish (discovered with POTS' Ryu, one of their sprites is used in the cow gif). I hope to get shots of Cow From Sky soon, Juano16's system is way complicated than I though u_u

Yeah, Jim now has CF63 1/3 sparks thanks to Orbinaut, now finishing the first claytality and seeing what's up with the Insane Combos (a.k.a. ultras). Also, you can see the super that didn't appear in the video, the Stairway to Heaven (diag-up autocombo)

Also, I found a common state (7698) who's already the squish one (that's POTS' Ryu against Jim... and he already has those sprites and anim!!), needs more fixes and a way about freeze the anim in one sprite (still asking how to do that, I accept help here :))

And locked the post!! Wow, very few difference, but at last I keep with Jim until I finish. But since the vote for an Arrange version is so high, I'll make a separate DEF where you can use Jim as a normal character (that's mean no Claytalities or Insane Combos, just the typical specials-supers char ;) thanks to all for voting!!

CF63 1/3 Lifebars:
Yeah, I'm still working on them, too. There're almost ready with the look, the time font, the "fight" and "you win!" big words already ripped and implemented, and the sound FX, with announcer added. Now making fightfx's sff and air with Orbinaut' ripped sparks, starting to rip the "you lose" anim (for the p2, u know) and making the fnt file for combo counter. I was thinking in release them along with Jim, but if I finished before him, probably I'll release them alone ;)

Earthworm Jim:
At last I could make palettes and now Jim has 12 colors to choose (for the complicated sprites, I just changed the blue lines for other colors u_u) and still working on claytalities, mainly improving and fixing Cow From Sky. But I would need some help with certain states and bugfix, so I would need betatesters who gave me better info (and maybe solutions) for the stuff Jim needs.

Sorry for don't show all of this with shots, but I don't have my pendrive and I don't have MUGEN in this PC (office, u know)... soon more news, but as you read before, not just about your favorite worm ;)
