# BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

:neutral: Hello everyone! My name is "Zhe", I'm from Brazil. Before everything: Forgive my google translator english and grammar, ok? Now let's get down to the rock: I'm here to invite everyone who like Megaman Series to take a look (if not done yet) at my project. It is a fighting game that I call "Megaman Battle Circuit X". I have been developing this project as  a Hobby since 2008 when I started to learn how to program in MUGEN (I stil have a lot to learn by the way...).

Since I really like Megaman, and so much more the X, Z and ZX series (besides those Battle Networks), I'm 'doin my thing using the Sprites of these games for create the fighters. The intention is to make a game with the gameplay more "Megaman X Feeling" possible, but with touches of a classic fighting game. I hope every fan join the journey.

:truestory: My progress at the development so far: I'm in beta version 1.2, maded in 2009, and now I menaged to release a "1.2B". This 1.2B is no more WinMugen but Mugen 1.0. In Win Mugen Plus there are a lot of that "Build Malfunction" along the game, such Music not playing or when playing it does not works as intended (without "scratch" or else). There are some "Crashes" too since We are nowdays using Windows 7 and 10 and not XP anymore.

Yea, it was a long hiatus! 2009 to 2018-19! Well... Things of my personal life that moved me away from Mugen programming. But now I could return and do what I was doing back then with a lot of love. I wish to do my best while I'm updating my knowledge! By the way: Nothing of this work are "moleboxed" anymore and because of this I'm releasing My programmed chars first since some people do not want their work "messed" by other people. I can understand it, no prob and I thank 'em all for the help.

 :megusta: If my personal life allows I'll release my revamped chars 1 per month. I already released Tretesta Kerberian as "Starter Pack Character" alongside the game build and You can get them in my site. Thank you all for the time and I hope to see you there giving that good and nice feedback!

# 03:38:PM 21/04/2025:


- Gameplay Changes:


1) No longer need to press 2 buttons to launch a HYPER Move: Just press "B" button.

2) No longer need to press 2 buttons to launch a XTREME Move: Just press "C" button.

3) X-Terminations (those 2 characters who have it) no more need a power level 2 to trigger.

4) "Personal Habilities" (P.H.) are now called "Innate Moves" (I.M.).

5) Command list was temporally disabled due some unusual bugs with sound and other unexpected coding behaviours.

6) V.S. Screeen was temporally disabled for a code rework due unexpexted behaviours with some Char Var's. The simple version of the Screen (the "WARNING" Signal Screen) are still working ok though.


- Character Changes:


█ OMEGA (NEW CHALLENGER!):

- Omega are now out of its alpha state. It is released to public as Playable Beta Character.


█ EREGION (NEW CHALLENGER!):

- Eregion are now out of its alpha state. It is released to public as Playable Beta Character.


█ SLASH BEASTLEO (NEW CHALLENGER!):

- Slash Beastleo are now out of its alpha state. It is released to public as Playable Beta Character.

- Slash Beastleo can now throw a Air Combo Starter Move after the 3rd hit of the Stand combo and the 2nd from the crouch combo as his Innate Move.

- Slash Beastleo can now stick to any side of the screen like Velguarder and have a follow up move from this.

- Slash Beastleo's  "XTREME - King's Energy Blast" has been revamped and are now working properly like it should. Have new SFX as well.

- Slash Beastleo's  "HYPER - Imperial Rage" has been revamped and are now working MORE accordingly, but still need some work. I'm getting there. The last hit have now a special "Slash Effect" to show more "the ferocious impact" coming from this move.

- Slash Beastleo's  "King Summersault" have now a faster startup, but i'm still testing if it is a decent "anti air" move.


█ VELGUARDER:

- Velguarder's "Neo Izuna Drop" can be stopped by any foe hit.

- Velguarder's "HYPER - X9" are now a level 1 Super

- Velguarder's "HYPER - Proton Cannon" are now a level 2 Super

- Velguarder's "HYPER - Scorpion Trap" are now a level 2 Super FOR SURE! (There were a error at the coding allowing a Lv.1 usage!)

- Velguarder's Basic Attacks have more combo routes and if blocked, the foe can beat you.

- Velguarder's "XTREME - Wolf Sigma" have a LARGE range now, working ok, but still lack graphic effects to show such "range" properly. I'm workin' on it.


█ TRETESTA KERBERIAN:

- Kerberian's "Earthquake" is no longer unblockable.

- Any of the Kerberian's Air Melee Attacks are GUARANTEED to connect and hit with the Styx Cross Special Move.

- Kerberian's "Styx Cross" were TOTALLY reworked and can be done at the ground and in the air as well. In the past, this move could only be done in the air. New SFX and Graphic Effects were added to make the move feel more like a menace (it was too simple!) and this is (for) now the most efficient combo ender for Kerb.

- Kerberian's Buster Shot can now be charged like X's Buster. "Kerberus Buster Level 1 # Cyber Dark Shot" is the normal shot by pressing "Y". "Kerberus Buster Level 2 # Cyber Inferno Ball" are the upgraded version now. It DO NOT travel across the screen: It leaves a 15 hit "Flame Ball" floating where it is released. Kerb can use his new Innate Move, "Wild Jump", to open an highly destructive combo coming from it. There are other combo routes coming from the C.I.B. I pretend to make C.I.B an great combo starter tool for Kerb.

- Kerberian have now 2 new Innate Moves: "Wild Step (Foward)" & "Wild Step (Back)". It works as Blanka's fast jump foward and back move, but way more efficient since you can use air attacks while jumping in and out. Plus: The jumping range are very far, allowing kerb fast jump in from the middle of the screen to get the foe or to flee if needed. This action have consequences of course: You need to lose 300 power points to fast jump in or out, BUT this action can come out from the C.I.B, for example, as cancelled move (for free!) and the possibility of a highly damaging combo, coming from this, is absurdly interesting! With a level 1 bar you can do 3 jumps.

- Kerberian's "HYPER - Laser Sword" now catch the foe falling, all of its hits! (damage scaled, o course).

- Kerberian's "INNATE MOVE - Kerberus Hell Hound" NO MORE CAN BE SPAMMED! It is allowed ONLY ONCE PER ROUND. Combined with the C.I.B, near corner, or at the corner, this is a tremendous pressure tool. Although the 2 dogs could be destroyed normally by the opponent, they move very fast when near the foe and the reaction is difficult after blocking them. That said, you cannot spam dogs anymore, so... No more "Dog Festival" on the screen. The Hell Hounds, in the future, will have better usage. I'm planning something more intelligent for the "Kerb's Puppies" (as a second fight mode, like a "Stance" you know? Something like this!), but for now they are something "to be there" as Signature Move since i cannot leave Tretesta without 'em.

- Velguarder & Tretesta Kerberian no more have "ghost inputs" for press Y in the air for both characters.

- Command List updated with new moves for both characters.

- Solved (FOR GOOD THIS TIME!) the bug in the Normals Page of the Command List not showing.

- Solved Kerberian's Hellhounds bad behavior causing mess and screwing the TK's X-Termination Move.

- Solved Kerberian's Air Launcher problem: Now works properly (see the command list for the input).

- Solved Velguarder's "floating" bug when Proton Cannon collides with TK's Forbidden Power Release.

# 03:03AM 09/02/2019:

- Kerberian & Velguarder's Attack List has been updated to show the properly input.

- Solved a related bug of the Normals Page of the Command List not whowing properly when called.

- Eurasia Crash Site & Spaceport Stage now have a background sound.

- Some minor modifications in Kerberian's Melee's.

# SUPPORTING A FAN EFFORT!

:mhappy: Matheus Carvalho, a Game Page Member, or "Ultimate Bass.Exe" as it nicknamed himself online, keep showing a lot of fan support for the game. As retribution for his "never ending" love I decided to show people his brief testing session for the new build update (He came in the Facebook like "hey, hey, hey! show people my combos, please!" why not? let's do this!). Check out the guy's combos: Pulled 32 hits without HYPERS or XTREMES (a thing that He feels pretty proud of!)


:8): By the way, I did not not mentioned before, but with good skills You can link a Combo to a X-Termination Move doin' type like a "Ultimate Combo" from Killer Instinct. I hope to see people menaging to do this... One more thing to say: This week's update provides the missing songs for two stages of the game and fixes bugs reported in the Command List. Those who are downloading the 1.2B characters and build now (1st time) are already blessed with them "updated", but if you already downloaded them, before 08/02/2019, download the patches and not everything again!
