this should make up pretty much all of DIO's supers.
once I finish up the AI, normal DIO will be done. I say normal DIO because im planning to add an EX DIO, which will just be DIO but with more strength, defense, a slight regen mechanic, new specials and supers, better frame data on normals, etc. essentially im giving DIO the Shin Akuma treatment. once im done with that mode, DIO will be done.

Idk if possible but I would dig an update on pots spark options,sth feels off about those
also is grooves can be choose from config.txt and get groove text on game disabled?

Cool, two more rooms for my DioDio's Bizarre Adventure Mugen game that I found somewhere :bjugoi: are his new specials and supers from his Shadow and Jacketless counterparts or will it be brand new that you will come up with?

My real life is coming soon........!

workin on a little cvs2 adaptation of jotaro, its more or less here just to give my personal interpretation on how to implement a jojo/stand char into cvs2 and balance it.
so far normals are looking good but hes still incredibly incomplete and in the very early stages of creation.

Thank you for this, CVS2 characters are my favorites, I hope you continue working in this kind of characters.

stand off specials are finished, working on stand on specials now, they'll be modified from the stand off specials, however time stop reversal will not be possible in stand on mode.
ora-ora had some wacky stuff going on during initial development, infinites were discovered but i had to rectify it through making Star Platinum's recovery on his ora-ora really long, so if you wanted to know why he stays there for longer than normal, that is why.
also, the star finger 50/50 mixup will not be possible with this jotaro, while it was a main part of his okizeme and gameplan from HFTF this type of mixup is something that would be very overpowered in CvS2. Your only option of a crouching move is cr.LP, and it does not hit low, and st.MK (which is 6B in source) does not hit low anymore, so you only have your overhead, so I'm sure there's ways of mixing using star finger just not the way HFTF had it.

s.OFF and s.ON specials and supers finished.
Only super left is time stop, which should be simple as I can take the code from my DIO.
After that I'm making the AI, then testing for bugs and oversights and any other additional touch-ups.

Also I made a usable run animation for Jotaro, which was something I dreaded starting this project. It took a while to draw new leg sprites and using stuff from his other motions, but I think this is good for now, I'll modify the sprite as I see fit later on when I'm done with all the main stuff.

i'll look into that. i do have warusaki's cvs2 vice in my chars folder, just not in my main roster. i'll check her run sprites and see if i can translate the motion of the legs to jotaro.

i have dug up the remains of this thread to make use of it one more time. now that my time with the engine is being completely taken up with my newly released fullgame, I only got the motivation left for one more standalone character (for the foreseeable future) and I'll put my progress here like I used to.

I'll post more info tomorrow.
