A long time ago, I had released a beta for Samus Reloaded, a character putting into use more of what I've learned making characters over the years. Finally, after years of on and off work, I finished her. I guess the reveal trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond gave me the motivation I needed to lock in and complete her. In honor of that, I named the final version "Samus Beyond." This was a passion project. UPDATE 1/11/2025The edits made in this update are based on some feedback I received. I've tried to balance her projectile game mainly since she has proven to be far too good at it, as well as her guard push being too effective. The added evasion move and the beams being mapped to commands instead of distance triggers should open up for more setup options. I hope this makes Samus more enjoyable to use, as well as fight against.-All Beam Moves are now mapped to commands rather than triggering at a distance-Samus now has an evasion move that is triggered by either Light Punch + Light Kick or Medium Punch + Medium Kick.-Going off feedback I received, all projectile moves have more startup time and end lag-Guard Push has been nerfed so that it isn't overly good at shoving enemies so far away-The AI has been tweaked to be less spammy with projectiles so that it isn't as frustrating to fight against
