If I was to make one of these characters, where/how would I extract the data for velocities and frame times?

I really like these sprites, but I will drop dead and disintegrate if I give a character an inaccurate velocity.

Helios would know.
I'll share what I know when I've finalized my findings.

For now you should know that complete accuracy is impossible due to the lack of CLSN data; and as for what I aleady know, my methods are still clunky, but accurate.

Doesn't KOF series have consistent vels?  Granted XIII might be different because of several factors.

The X vels are consistent enough, but the Y vels:

...And XIII has values hopping around every time there is a loading screen, so even if you are in training mode and pause, when it unpauses all of the values get moved around in memory again.  A minor annoyance, but at least the velocities can be appended in a group (as the entire group moves in memory).

The time does not share the same group, neither does player 2's group.  So those need to be found and appended seperately as well.

Kyo, Iori, Kim, Mai and Yuri's sprites would be awesome. With that said, I'll try my hand at making a solid K' out of the XIII sprites I just acquired, and others may follow. With any luck, I may be able to finish one character per week...with any luck. In the meantime, it'd be great to get a hold of Ahuron to help him/her out with future releases.

Honestly Please don't do that Ahuron is bad at coding (example at some of his Hokuto no Ken cahrarcters) and rushing making Kof XIII Characters is a worest of an idea too because there's ton of combos and maxs that need to be made correctly

lol i say go right ahead ... someone is bound to take your chars and fix them ;P as long as you leave them open source i suppose :-\

No, don't listen to him at all.  You should put time, effort, dedication into your work.  DOn't just slop it out so you can say you made KOF 13 characters.

You idiots, DoubleDragonII is like the master of KOFXIII coding. He can code a 99% accurate XIII Terry while he's sleeping (NOTE: The only thing that wont be accurate to XIII is that he will be able to crouch while running).
