How to edit Sprites

How can i edit sprites or make new ones?
Because i have finished my IORI project and now i only need some new sprites.
I want to know,how the other guys that make characters out there,How they edit sprites all same.
I mean if i want to make IORI's new outfit from KOFXIV,how can i do that ?
How can i edit his clothes and if i edited them,can i make them in all frames by some easy way ?

I am a little editor of pixel art

There's no Easy Way to Edit Sprites, you need a image editing program and months (in some cases, years) with free time and patience.
Edit the first frame, go to the second, edit him, go to the third, edit him.

But I have a Tip, some parts uses same position in body or limbs, even the head, you can simplify the edit with copy/paste of these parts, but be careful, only do It with several frames. Like This:

By Sudake from DA.
And, if your sprite use diferent collors, try to recollor him before edit.
