Ok, I got to play some on it last night and again this morning so here's some feedback:

bgmusic = sound/Ancient_Gate.mp3
- I would have loved to hear what that sounded like, but it wasn't included in the download.

- Change your boundhigh to -225 instead of -140 to be able to get the full upper view of the stage.

- Your zoffset is too high particularly to the left of the stage where that Rock meets the floor. I tried a value of 210 which I thought would seem more appropriate without sending the chars too deep to the screen edge but it appears they were still clashing over that rock sprite on the left.



You can either smooth out the bottom of that rock render and cast some shadow over that area or just set the zoffset to 215...but that's a little too deep for the looks of this stage IMO.

- Stage is beautiful and your drawing progress shows. Great job. However...

- Like Teros mentioned, it screams for animations. Here are some suggestions:

- A ominous figure watching the match...maybe one of those Alien-like Shaman's from your creations.
- Birds flying by or on the trees...like Teros said.
- Maybe someone peeking from behind the rocks or gate?
- Two figures staring into the sky where the edge behind the gate meets the sky...One adult and one child (pointing to something in the sky maybe?).

I can go on all day, but yeah....nice release bro.

Yeah... about the rainy version... the rain layer is on the front of everything...

EDIT: No mp3 for the normal version?
The chars look like there walking on the rock just like the screenshot that Max took.
And i think it could use some more animations
