Have they actually ever gotten proof of that or extensively tested it out? I don't see how thats possible.

I don't know about 360, but you can't block controllers from registering on a PS3.  One way might be to have five other wireless controllers pre-register (then hidden in a box) then have the other two wired controllers take up all seven spots and an eighth controller might be blocked from input.  Inactive controllers drop registry for battery savings though.  You buy a new controller, press the Home button and the controller instantly goes to XMB.

bump. thread needs more love.

Just finished modding another stick. This one has a Seimitsu LS-32 and dual-modded with a ChImp to work on both PS3 and 360. I also modded the Felicia stick a while back with a MC Cthulhu and RJ-45 mod, meaning I can switch out the cables to work on a variety of consoles.

Heres an arcade stick that I'm sure any guy, or girl can learn to use with relative ease. :dozey:

POTS has his name in 50% of characters' readme. I shall have 50% too, but for stages ! :ninja: ;D

@JZ

That picture you posted earlier for the universal PCB, do you know when that'll release?

Wish I did, but it's not specified in the e-mail. There might have been recent news on SRK about it, but it's too much to dig through.

I expect that if you want one to pre-order because something like that is going to sell out quick.

Is this a one time thing? I don't plan to build one until I fall ass-backwards into more money (give or take another year).

Just bumping the thread to tell Mr. A that a good candidate for a case for your custom stick is actually... an XBox360 case. Here in Peru isn't hard to find someone who sells that for little money, and I doubt it will be hard for you to find it if you are in the US.

And JZ, when you did the RJ45 mod with the Cthulhu, wich row did you use to solder the wire? 1,2,3? I plan to mod a humble Hori FS3 I got to be able to play TvC.

I used row 1, though it theoretically shouldn't matter since those are used to accommodate extra wires.

I thought te same, but I read somewhere at SRK (at the RJ45 mod thread, I think) you are forced to use rows 1 or 2 if you wanted to add PS2 support.

I'll try this on weekend, hope it works this time.
