on the template you gave for kyo palettes, one of the inner jacket colors matches the lightest shoe sole color. i just noticed this.

Ash Saga gloves have the sun pattern on them, so the trim should be gold. :P

Hey Jmorphman are you planning add some special intros vs Cvs Ioris (Hero, Anjel, Makkah, H'). Kyo & Iori have various ones in KoF games (loving the NBC one when they use their flames in dark bg)
Just the standard CvS one.

did you separate colors before removing axis?? if you did it would be pretty cool of you to relase the spriteset for the community.
Yes. I was planning to release the sprites like I did with Joe. In fact, I was gonna do that for Ken and Chun-Li, but I'm waiting on the sprites for the former and I have another win pose to separate for the latter before I'll release them.

isn't there some kind of palfx or overlay (SORRY I AM NOT A MUGEN CODER OKAY) that would avoid the need of separating those sprites

You COULD use PalFX, except it can't really tell which palette to do it for... well, it can, but if someone wants to replace that palette, then there'd be problems.

Say Cyan Paul's palette doesn't make it in, and I want to add it to slot 7, which uses Kirishima's. MUGEN can only tell what slot a palette is in, thus Kyo would still burn red even though his fire is blue with the changed palette!



If you're using SFFv2, you can do this without worries because nobody will be able to replace palettes anyway, but you probably won't.

isn't there a way to put a one color sprite over kyo so kyo takes those colors (or a similar effect)?

There's only add and subtract. Don't think either would work too well.

i could mock it up in photoshop and check for sure but I gotta get to class

None are final. Just ran out of steam. Too bad the skin tones from XII don't seem to work well on him.

i just tried photoimpact's addition overlay (has to do the same thing) and it looks passable

But I'm already at work at separating the sprites. So everyone should stop making palettes right now, because they'll all have to be updated.  >:D
