I liked Sean's games (wonder where that bro is now?) and what I tried from Pocket Dimensional Chaos, Project X, whatever Beximus calls his game now and Capcom Fighting All-Stars was cool (to me at least). That was about it. I remember downloading Babel Sword years ago but oddly never actually played it. Huh

It's legit my favorite Mugen project by a longshot. But CV generally gets me hard. Serio did a lot of good things with the effects handling and the game is fairly well polished and has a large selection of characters to choose from and bosses to fight.

It's effectively a boss rush mode from the DS Castlevania games but in a much grander scale. If any CV fans haven't tried it yet, you are doing yourself a disservice, IMO.

Babel Sword for EVERYTHING.

Castlevania fightan for being damn awesome. I don't know if Serio will ever consider it done but is not a pile of unfinished mess anyway so I consider it a legit mugen game.

The Black Heart for a lot of things, including having a story mode that actually makes every single ending canon. It would be awesome for it to have some further polish but it's a cool experience if you can get over that kind of stuff.

I like AvX a lot, I know you a lot of you guys hate IMT for whatever reason, but AvX came out pretty good. IMT's old Marvel vs Capcom EOH was fun, even though, yes, it was very uneven and not every aspect of it or character was coded all that well.

I second Black Heart, probably the single best mugen game. Like, ever.

CvtW and SHADES by Sean Altly are both really well done and fun.

Castlevania Fighters like everyone said.

Capcom Universe: Nexus of Heroes is coming along nicely.

ShinRei's Capcom vs SNK Universe is pretty cool, but it's Ikemen...and a huge pain in the ass to set-up.

Duracelleur's KOF Anthology should be pretty good when finished.

There are a few 8-bit ones that are pretty cool, but I'm having trouble remembering what theyre called.

Nijikaku! Ha, I'm only kind of joking...I actually really enjoy it from time to time. It does get better with every update.

It's too bad Scruffy Dragon's Marvel Vs DC was/will never be finished. I think it would have been great.

Those are the ones that came to mind. I guess you could say that my standards are not quite as high as some, I want a full game to be FUN, and look good. It doesn't have to compete with a real corporate game with a huge budget, or be coded to absolute perfection.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Kombat Project and it's various iterations.

to be fair, theyre only supposed to work with eachother. but other than that, almost all of the fan-made mortal kombat mugen games are just buggy messes that are filled with terrible fan-made ninjas or cyborgs.

Juano16's MKII is probably the only fullgame I would rescue of all MK MUGEN games, IMO. There're a lot of fullgames out there, now if there're finished, that's another story...

And about that, I should retake my ol-abandoned Anti-Gouki Project BTW, I got like 2-3 clones already finished, more stages and a trying to make a lifebars, but I've been priorizing other things... damn...

Rest in peace, Toriyama-san...
