Hey did you consider my idea about terry lv3 super, with his eye's. Also, not just him but probably for all fighters in some type of way.

I'll do some test with terry when I get home and see how it turns out.

Lin from the first CVTW was from ROTD however yeah more of those characters would be cool.

Anyone know where I could find some sprites for some Tatsunoko characters? Ideally Casshan or Polimar. I'm wanting to mess around with them in this game's format.

If I can't find any ideal sprites for them, I'll likely just make a grappler character using Kinnikuman.

Check the databases, I remember someone ripping the sprites from the Tatsunoko game.MFG and MFFA are bound to have something.

Yeah, they're just low-quality and didn't think Memo would want those in the game, especially after trying to find sprites of characters that have a cohesive style. If I can make some worthwhile characters, I'll likely end up doing "packs" whenever the inspiration hits, one Capcom and one world character a pack.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. :P

It's nice to have that kind of ambition, it gets stuff to a better quality. Aside from a few things, Memo blew up thanks to his CvtW DLC. Maybe the same path can happen to you.

Yeah, I don't want to rush anything out though. If I only can put out two quality characters that add to the experience of the game, that's enough for me. Hopefully I can met Memo's standards.

My standards are not that hard to do, I just want all chars to feel like themselves.
Pretty much CLSN and hit/block and counter hit advantage stuff.
Ive been using frame data that I can find to do that, if I cant find any I go off ryus
Data and adapt the char to what I feel the char would be like going against him.

bit if it's fan created content you dont have to follow the standards of you can't I
Wont trip over it I might just give you tips to Improve.

this updated link looks really good, even for me. essentially its ramzaneko's link animated by chucho, BUT, someone else took chucho's sprites, made it USEABLE and look even better and updated the link to be an actually good character. I think Link could go great with Mario as Nintendo reps

also if you want someone that goes well with the existing characters, lyndis from fire emblem comes to mind. pair her up with link and they won't look that out of place compared to the rest of the cast

They are some what a pain but, with your skill set. You can easily pull it off, probably can look at the old snk2 sp.

Yeah I threw together a quick grid. It actually made me remember that I tried doing something like this before I just can't remember why I didn't follow through.



I've already finished the basic design for the select screen though so this is all theory.

NoZ legacy screenpack is similar to that right?
