Ananzi
Ananzi's movelist didn't need much revision since it was based on her existing movelist from The Black Heart. The only changes I made were input glyph notation and heading adjustments, the addition of the Universal Mechanics section and general fixes to the back-end formatting. I did also edit the grammar of some Special Move names, though I am aware they were already accurate to how they were written in The Black Heart.
Angelica
Angelica easily got the lion's share of edits and tweaks during the revision process, most of which was due to how different the formatting was between the version included with her by default and my usual style. The changes that have been made in regards to formatting are as follows.
- The Universal Mechanics section has been added.
- Section headings have been adjusted to match the standardized versions found in my other movelists.
- Color coding has been adjusted in some places and added or removed in others.
- Glyph notation has been adjusted to follow the same structure as my other movelists.
- General back-end structure has been heavily modified, removing unnecessary indentations and several functionless "declaration marks" (or </>, which are used to mark the end of sections that are color coded.)
While there was no need to localize this time around since all of Angelica's moves were named in English, I decided to make a few adjustments here and there. Details on those are as follows.
- One of Angelica's previously unnamed normals has been given a name. Her crouching B attack is now called Mischievous Laugh. Additionally, the names used for her standing B normal string and crouching C attack (Whirlwind Stick Toy and Toy Car, respectively) that were previously listed in the Angelica Specific Mechanics section of Forla's movelist have been added to my edit's Command Normals and Basic Chains.
- Angelica's Red ball toss attack had its name changed to Ball Toss. Pointing out the ball's color in the move's name seemed a bit superfluous to me, so I decided to simplify it even further.
- Angelica's Dumb baby summon moves have all had their names changed. While the moves that summon Chuckie and Phil & Lil were only slightly changed in a similar fashion to Kohaku's "Look what I grew!", Dumb baby summon (Susie) was changed to "Help me out, Susie!" It felt more than a little out of character for Angelica to call her own best friend a dumb baby, so I felt like this change was necessary. The name for Angelica's Exceed Accel was changed from All dumb babies to Rugrattack! for the same reason.
Lastly, her Character-Specific Mechanics section has been overhauled to improve readability. Any sections that previously resided there were moved to appropriate places outside of the section, while the pieces that did remain were adjusted. The only one that wasn't rewritten was the section on her extra air actions, which I chose to combine with the note about her backwards Dodge Roll.
