New normals:
I only used one reference to make a wip HK

 In this case I used Madiesha from Tough Guys as a base (for the moment it'll be discarded since it needs the author's permission). I wonder if there will be another 2D character who use the gymnastic style in order to be able to complete her set of normals.
There's Kumi Okubo from Asuka 120%, as for Madiesha, if you're taking the sprites from Sakuraka's version, then i think it's Fine to use tem since he/she's no longer online afaik. Unless the readme states that you need permission.

Hello. It's been a while!
I've been working on a new char besides Kula, since I was bored of making just one character and needed something to alternate between. In this case, I've chosen Carol, (next char after Hinata).

About Kula, I've made progress finishing her get-hits and a couple of normal attacks; the priority now is to finish her normals. Although I still have a lot left to finish.

As for Carol, i'm using Dampir's sprites as a base. Surprisingly it didn't take me long to make the anims unlike Kula. So she is around 50% finished. These are some of the many I did:



Oc, some of these need to be polished once I try to finish her set. The missing ones are:
- All gethits
- Aerial normal attacks
- Some crouch attacks
- Naughty Ball (Super)
- Spinning Top (Special)
- Intro and Winposes (Only one winpose has been done)

And the following additions/features:
- Intro against Tiffany
- Rainbow Cyclone (Super)
- Some new normals

 About the coding, I've made a lot of progress. It's only missing Spinning Top, half of the normals and throws and the rest is about sprite replacements. BTW, this is her move list:

I would like to show you more, either videos of the process, but I don't know if it would meet the rules of this section. BTW, all feedback or idea is ever welcome....

Will this Carol be usable for my old CvS2 Carol? I forgot, but I had a few commissioned sprites in my CvS2 Carol. Might wanna check them out! I really loved her original Savage Reign sprites, such flawless details and shading. But this is really nice too. She looks like an actual CvS2 character.

Very good sprites for such a deep cut choice, though one thing Is personally bugging you (with no offense ofc) is that the Idle looks very 1:1 to the original animation spritework from Savage Reign, and my gut is telling that Capcom wouldn't have gone on that direction if they officially added her, I would like to see some liberties on the animations like how Capcom did with some SNK characters like Terry, Yuri or Rugal, or if you wanna take it more easily, you can make some bouncy animatios like how Benimaru's works or you can add more frames to the animation to smooth it out and add a simple animation where she moves the ball between her arms as if it's on a ramp before having it return to her hand (this last one were words taken from XenoCard and Hatter respectively)
