i like the new outfit except for blake's. and i find thew new action choreography boring looks like your average generic shounen shows.

choreography is a step down but everything else looks amazing the models are better and ruby's voice is still irritating.
It surprisingly did, dang.The Fear from MGS3 has been reincarnated I see. Also first episode's up for subscribers.
So how 'bout that Volume 4? I liked it overall. The story telling and direction was a step up from the first 3 volumes. The production looks a whole lot nicer too; backgrounds are much better and character acting felt less wooden. The fight choreography is blander unfortunately. I can't say I was really into fights from the earlier installments because it always seemed like the choreography was asking more out of the animators than they were comfortably able to do. Now it feels like the production is on the level where they can do stuff like that, but just aren't delivering. Only thing I'd say about the story was that it was a bit thin, mostly because they went with multiple concurrent storylines. That was an good decision given where the story headed, but with the limited time for each episode made the pacing slower than I'd like. The whole season was pretty much a setup for Vol. 5.
the fights are meh feels like your generic anime flash-fu. story is ok predictable but ok. it's a bit slow and nothing actually happened except for that last part.
the weakest of the 4 volumes tbh.....I really dont want to involve Monty in this, but I really do feel like without him, RWBY is beginning to lose its touch. I know the current team is trying and I hope Vol5 is better, but Vol4 was really meh.....Vol2 and 3 so far are the best ones.
design and models are better but fight scenes are weak. they need to review some of monty's old works. rwby became popular because of those fast paced over the top combos.
