Wolverine and Raiden, really? I thought it sat next to Link and Cloud as their most half-hearted 3D attempt. Sam Fisher and Solid Snake for sure is their best 3D match, by a mile.
It's not just me that feels like they had audio issues with this episode, yeah? Vergil's dialogue and the post-credits speech sound weird.
Would have liked a teaser for the next battle, considering we got two months now to wait for next season, but ah well. Now we're in the dead zone for a while. Time to wishlist and speculate.

Yeesh, even when Sephiroth wins I can't help but feel the bias in their script that they don't like Final Fantasy, at least VII. And of course they work in a way Vergil can beat Super Nova. Because now it's a summonable monster. Oi.
Annoyances aside, glad Sephiroth won. They took a few different directions than expected, like the previously mentioned stopping Super Nova and deciding Yamato can't cut through anything. Was also a little surprised they actually went with my initial guess that Sephiroth would be casting healing spells from his SOLIDER training, not, you know, just having a self-repairing body from being attached to the Lifestream? Also figured that if Vergil's strength is equal to Dante's and Dante could punch out kaiju and whatnot, that would be waaaaay more impressive than cutting open a train door, but whatever.
