when you get older the idea of cartoons and television in general gets less appealing unless you have the free time to sit around and just idly watch.

there isnt really much of the luxury of making the time to watch a cartoon in a certain slot.

just use netflix or VODs, so you can watch what you want when you want.

No. That's a movie.

On another note, Gumball is cool but my nostalgia glasses keep me from loving it. I feel horrible for people who didn't grow up with OG CN, Toonami, or Adult Swim.

To be honest, there really isn't much on CN nowadays. There's Regular Show, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, The Amazing World of Gumball and a few others. But usually I would just wait till Saturday for Toonami to pop on. In my mind, CN dropped the ball on a lot of good shows and plans for the network. It's stable, but it could be better. I could say the same for the other cartoon channels, they either just show reruns and reruns and reruns or they had a good show/idea but it loses it appeal very fast due to things not working out. That and maybe my tastes are changing....for better or worse. I do like Hub though, with its decent mix of cartoons and live action. This is just my view on things and shouldn't bring out too much.

The most I see anymore is what Adult Swim's got and Futurama and South Park re-runs, occasionally record a show or two from AS's Toonami though the majority of it is passable.  Last show I was actively watching was Korra....though they decided to take that off t.v.

It's slightly depressing to me when watching over my younger brothers that they don't like anything CN, Nick or Disney's got, but adore Boomerang.  PPG tends to scare them at times though.  Granted it's usually episodes where they're punching out monsters' guts or fighting Satan, but still.  Show's crazy.

Remember hearing CN's doing a new Courage the Cowardly Dog show?  Hopefully that'll do them some good, go with that new PPG and Flintstones show.  Nick's moved their latest Avatar to streaming, and not sure what Disney's got going for them?  Last I heard Craig McCracken took over doing  Mickey Mouse online episodes.  No clue what Hub's doing.  Last I saw they had a My Little Pony music video to California Gurls.

Disney has the Marvel cartoons... only Avengers Assemble is worth watching though. Oh, they have Gravity Falls too.

Oh.  Right.  Somehow I forgot Disney owns Marvel now.

I tried Gravity Falls when people went cuckoo for cocoa puffs over the Street Fighter episode and that sugar rush induced dolphin dream episode.  It's alright.  Might have to try watching that with the boys some day, thanks for the reminder.

Cartoon Network was really Great back in the days. I remember it's Marathon days for some of their shows. I was watching Cartoon Network for Dragonball Z. I remember some Cartoons like Cow & Chicken, Dexter's Laboratory and some really classics like The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Scooby Doo and some Warner Bros Cartoons on it for sure.

Regular Show is really good, guys. You'd expect it to be really bland and just be about working in the park, but it really isn't. Sci-fi, Horror, Action, pretty much every genre is shown within one season.

Rest in peace, Tamez. Thank you for everything.

I got bored with Regular Show and Adventure Time and the main character keeps me from getting into Steven Universe. Gave up on anything from Marvel Animation. I'm actually into Teen Titans Go right now, it's so nuts and Looney Tunes.
Nevermind, there's nothing I can do
Bet your life there's something killing you
It's a shame we have to die, my dear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time
What a way to go, but have no fear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time
It's a shame we have to disappear
No one's getting out of here alive
This time, this time, this time
