I've gotten beaten by a cheap kid who button mashed one time at an arcade for MvC2.

Nope because: not many fighting games out there are well balanced. Especially if we consider the 3D branch. So experience and tech ability does not work always against button mashers. To always have a 100% win in unbalanced games you just need to find those "unfair moves".  And that mostly happends in 3D games... a reason why cheap players usually like 3D over 2D games since they get easily pwed by experience...

Of course that statement does not apply for 3D games with a solid and balanced fighting system ( Like VF, DOA, sometimes Tekken...).

This is my personal experience of winning ratio against beginners, in the fighting game series that I play the most:

VF GG SF/Kof-VSspinoff: 99%

DOA - Tekken: 85%

Saint Seiya - Dragon Ball Budokai: 70%

vf is pretty balanced out of all the 3d games

ever played against against a n00b playing as Yoshi in Super Smash bros, and you were about to gjump back on the platform when suddenly the n99b jumps off and gets you with the attack where he turns your character into an egg, then jumps back up while you fall to your death as an egg?

About my most Humiliating defeats I must say I have two, one in MUGEN and other on an arcade:

In MUGEN I was playing against my 8 year old niece and I had given him My own Char PONCHo, as I was using Fervicante's B. Jenet, and I was winning, but thebn the unthinkable happened in the middle of his button (or in this case Key) mashing he managed to Haoh Shih Kooh ken me 'till next week..

The one in the arcades happened because I stopped going to a certain arcade/video rental where the best reunite by moving to an arcade/store closer to my home, where NOOBS are the rule, so the next time I got to the video rental a guy took me out ten times, since then I have been training at home until I get my edge back...

I dislike losing to players in SF3 when my opponent is Akuma and just Fireball-> Low Medium Kick -> Whirlwind kick - >shoyruken -> Repeat in that order me to death and if any of those fail, they simply sweep to get me on my back and repeat.

It wouldn't be so bad if here, in California, people weren't so retarded they call this 'skill' and gloat they're the best. If I parry, I'm called the 'noob' here for 'cheating the system'...

I kid you not, they say parrying is noob... I need a new arcade...

Also hate losing to Choi's air-to-ground kick, know many noobs that spam that in KOFs.

same here i beat someone at sc3 using lots of combos and then they say i was a noob when they ony knew triangle+triangle+triangle moves

At that point, takes out CaS Kohaku and whoops ass with Seong Mina's feather broom.
GOH: bmc would tell birds that they're broken because they shouldn't air recover.

I never get owned.

When I have Yoshimitsu in Tekken 3, I own everybody. I played the computer with adaptive AI for 4 hours in practice mode and it never could land a hit on me. People used to get pissed off at the arcade when I played as Yoshimitsu. I won a decent amount of money hustling Tekken.

Ecchi, it calls to me...

Thing I hate about it.. Is when I'm ub3r pro, and then I play someone and they constantly button mash... And its really annoying y'know?

And then I get frustrated after I lose to them after 2 rounds..
