I recently found an error about the stage error. I saw the stage file i downloadedz that i realise that all of them are for 1.0. And all of them uploaded in 2018/2017 (btw i only download jojo stages). So what's good about the new version of mugen? It can't read sprites stage that based of my fav anime/manga

what's special about 1.1 is the fact that two things happened and both of them involved stages:

1. most stages that are either be exclusive to 1.1 only or they have 1.1 stage edits that were originally done by someone who did it have 3 zoom codes:

startzoom, zoomin, and zoomout

2. some 1.1 exclusive stages that don't have zoom are very resourceful like take the neo geo boss stages by kaine for example, they're basically 3d

any 1.0 stage will work on 1.1 the zoom code is just the camera if you dont add it it will function like 1.0
As for 1.1 it has a better graphics engine and supports 32bit pngs HD screenpacks stuff like that.
People seem to think its buggy or broken or whatever been using it since day one and ive had no issues with it.

I dunno how people always manage to find all these things that don't work in Mugen 1.1 when I had less than 5 issues way back with 1.1a3 leak.  I must be super lucky.

Anyways.  What's good?  HARDWARE RENDERING

You can now use your GPU to render the screen properly.  And not that lame OpenGLScreen hack garbage, but actual, much faster than normal rendering.  In Mugen 1.0, anything more than 640x480 required an insane amount of CPU power, and anything not in multiples of 320x240 looked like crap.  Now, you can use much higher resolutions at 60 FPS and render it to whatever monitor resolution with hardware scaling.  I use a gamewidth/height of 1920x1440 and video width/height of 1920x1200 which gives me a very crisp image that's hardware scaled to 1600x1200.  This is really good for scaled characters like CPS sprites and AOF characters that are scaled to normal size.

Why would I want 4:3 when I could have 16:9 or 16:10?  Because it's not worth the trouble.
