One of the major catalysts of the US 1983 video game crash.

Spoiler: Today's haul as a whole (click to see content)

Spoiler: Closeups (click to see content)

None of these games were more than $7-$8, and I paid my entire Star Ocean V preorder off when I picked up Tokyo Mirage Sessions.

Also I didn't actually pay for those paddles; an awesome buddy at work gave them to me for free, but he hasn't had anything to test them with. That controller I bought? Actually the driving controller, which has a different emblem, works with a small set of games (Indy 500 and Race are two of them, it does not work with paddle-designated games) and can do 360 degree motion while the paddles can't. Also oddly the paddles are two controllers attached to one plug. Not sure why.

So I found out "Race" is just Indy 500 on 2600 but basically licensed to Sears and given a different coat of paint.

Fuck.

BUT, I took that and my extra copy of Pac-Man and traded them in for an impressive $0.34 and bought this for $5:

Spoiler: Thursday (click to see content)

Also a short tale of how OCD I am about collecting: I ordered Tactics for like $13.49 with $2.83 shipping. I get it and it's the game+manual in a blank CD case. Within 30 minutes I drive a few towns out, trade it in for $4 credit, pick up a copy in an actual case (which was like $18) and get The World is Not Enough with the credit (it was $3.99). I had some extra cash on me but spending $16 more on FFT was not what I wanted to do. All because blank/generic cases in place of the original case bother the shit out of me (I didn't see it on the listing).

Also I own the N64 version of The World is Not Enough but believe it or not the PS1 game is completely different.

I am sad to say that this is the case for me as well. True statement. :(

I collect more video games than I do play them. I only play like 5% of the games I actually buy. I donno why. :-/

Good luck finding the shelf space for that Guardian amiibo.

You'll make room for Waluigi.

Oh, I want a diagram. I fucking love diagrams.

cool stuff man. but why the manga adoption of kill la kill? the best thing about that show was it's wonderful animation.
do you even have the time to play all those games?
this is something that i suffer from too, i don't collect games but i have a shit ton of emulators and roms but only played a few of them. i enjoy finding those hidden gems for old consoles more than playing them.
I'm going to let god handle you people ✞

due to the simple fact that it was there. there are no places here that sell manga except for a certain bookstore twice (of which i only bought 8 volumes of FMA in one go years ago which i have not read up to this point and  volume 1 of berserk because vol 2 was missing and i could not buy any of the other 30 before they dissapear)

this store sanborns is getting lots of neat stuff recenlty including manga and they keep getting new ones every now and then (it's kinda expensive, some are $11.90 and others are $13.95). i was also curious and the art is pretty nice too. my biggest complaint is that it seems it's only 3 volumes long and every volume only consits of 3 (long) chapters!
