Feedback:
- Abs look too scrunched up, IMO. Try smoothing it out.
- Face needs more detail, I only see one eye, and not much more.
- Hair needs a bit of movement as well, once again IMO.

All I can think of right now, but I'm sure there is more. You're progressing.

I tried to make his abs like they draw them in the anime
his face only has an eye because its facing the side you cant see the other eye
and I'll work on the hair

well for me it's hard to teach someone art but the bast way to go about is look at the where the lighting goes also the smaller the sprite the less detail they have but not too much in the wrong areas and it look pillow shady   too less   it looks 8bity

usually when you zoom in to have a look we forget  that when zoom it back to check if it looks good small
but i think your detail is good just need better shading you might need to look at shading lessons on the net

but being a guy like me who really never took lessons much and doesn't have time to want to learn or teach it 

also the way I started was editing sprites and look very carefully how they are shaded yeah it's not easy to figure out you really gotta have an eye for this stuff and that takes time to develop it

 so the bast thing you should do draw and shade a lot the best artiest in animation have told me you have to draw like it's part of your life ever day anywhere ya can when ya can but even i don't do that but i have years of spiriting on my belt not why I'm that way but i guess I'm a fast learner or something XD so it depends how well you focus on it   

sucks that mugen isn't a slap on and make thing ya gotta have the skill of a animator to do this stuff XD hope this advice helps in someway dude cya

The chest on that and your sig is horribly misplaced. I don't really like the head.

You've seen some of Diepod's stuff, if you're going to make some sprites then make a 2d sketch first and then do some techniques to make sprites and sprite animations out of it.

You have been spriteing for a while now..i think you should try too start off with shapes..(I know ur chars is a male but you should still check this)
