Yeah Variables are mine as well but I think this may have helped me as well. Can you show video or an image of the outcome from what you were trying to do? If that;' asking for too much then that's fine man.

I've been looking at codes from chars that has beam/projectile struggle codes and it's way more difficult than I thought. If you know anyone who'd like to help with this give me a holler. Or anyone who knows how to make the code simple as possible. Or is it possible to add this code to Pots style characters projectile codes?

This is very refreshing man. Good job and keep at it. Gppd to see people getting into the coding for mugen still today. You have a great concept and tbh I'm working on a concept for mechanics as we speak so good idea too man.

If it's not registering when you input the command, it can multiple issues... If you are using a pc keyboard, then that can be the issue. Some keyboard keys don't register correctly for certain combinations together for some reason. Such your issue... I had the same problem with the dodge command, but if ou change the command in the CMD file of the character then it should work fine. Trust me I've tested out multiple keyboards to figure this out myself. But if you are using a controller or joystick/pad then I'm not sure what the issue could be unless one of you buttons aren't working.

Does anyone have a char or know a char they can point me to so I can use a reference? Any char that has the best frame data on attacks... I'm trying to learn it and apply it to my chars so I can get this full game started. I don't want the chars to be OP and have some vulnerability depending on what you choose. Pretty much like punishing.

Yeah like cyanide said, just do a long pausetime in the hitdef code so the opponent will react to the attack later.
ie: pausetime = 2,60

i know its possible with the latest version of Ikemen GO, but in Mugen, im not sure

right now its on version 0.94.3 i believe. I think it can work the same way, and ikemen also allows you to have 2 completely different characters (ex, Morrigan and Lilith), under 1 character select slot, you can unlock characters, universal zoom, and a buttfuck other ton features that is documented in the readme and the select.def file.

Damn! I didn't know I definitely have a lot of catching up to do. smmfh... Well I guess everyone will be seeing posts of me asking a lot of questions on how to program certain features soon lol

Don't know if anyone will reply to this, but does anyone know if there's a way to lock chars in mugen? Such as the chars will be grayed out, but they can be unlocked by completing the arcade mode. Or also lock a mode/form on a char... For example I'd like to lock my Goku SSJ transformation until I complete the arcade mode or until i complete maybe 3 matches or something like that. I was wondering  if this feature is possible or if anyone has the code for me to use a reference. I plan to use it when I get to fully working on my DBZ Mugen game with the clashes etc. I haven't this yet in mugen and since there's been so much advancement I was wondering if this be achieved yet, but I could be way over my head right now. But if so, Point me in the right direction if you can.

Just when you press UP, for the jump bug for Goku. Maybe it's related to the lifebar? Mugen Exceed Climax.
My son and me are loving those 2 chars, we can't wait to see what you'll do next!! ^^

Yeah I'm not sure why it does that but I'll figure it out

Just a small thing of Goku, now that I'm building a great mugen again. xD
When you jump with Goku, he disapear, like if one frame is missing in the jump.

On which jump animation. I haven't gotten that issue when I play with him.



Also, there's another bug I forgot to mention. Not sure if this applies to 1.1, but I tested it on 1.0 (Which does and don't want to necrobump the other topic). But choose a different palette on the select screen while the palette selector is turned off will always be the default palette on base form until SSJ is activated. Reverting back to base will be the palette you picked on the select screen. You might want to take a look at that.
