It simply doesn't have any power behind it. Even if you made it go faster it just lacks any umph.It looks more like he'd be moving a bar on a machine back and forth or something.

I like the head whip and tongue ideas a lot. Gotta make good use of those unique attributes, fighting games are all about the personality in each character's movements. Out there and malleable character designs like Buu allow for lots of creativity in that regard
I have yet to chime in on this project, but it looks really cool so far. I agree that lp is kind of on the weak side too. I agree with AugustAPC about maybe using a headbutt instead. The concept Karasai showed looks good, but maybe instead of a lunging forward one, maybe more of a chopping downwards headbutt would look better, and maybe lift his leg up a little before bringing the head down to show that it has a good amount of force behind it. IDK. The one I keep seeing in my head is the one used by Majin Vegeta Z2 as his standing close HP, which saying that now, might not be so good for a standard lp. Still, current jab isn't doing Buu justice. Karasai's headbutt concept might be good for a standing close lp though cause it looks like a good move for checking the opponent or stunning them up close. Keep it up man, everything looks great so far. I've looked over the whole thread and the whole project looks like it's coming along really well. I'm pumped.

Twelve intro or not, it looks great.The lick, the whip, and the headbutt all sound like good ideas to me. But I don't think Alex's little animation necessarily needs to be scrapped, either; just have the arm raise earlier and the punch extend fully.
