The template is not indexed correctly and some colors are shared (nails, mouth and eyes, to name an example)
Indeed, I'd refrain making any palettes until the coder (whoever it will be) starts coding him and makes a palette template to his liking (ordering colors in the palette as he wishes, adding of FX to the template, etc.)
Weird, when I open it in photoshop everything seems to be separate. Admittedly though I have no idea what I'm doing and you two would know better.
Open the template file, select the magic wand tool (disable the "contiguous" checkbox) and click on the black square from the eyes color. It will also select other areas, meaning the template is not color separated, and while still possible to a point, it makes palette creation and management much more complicated. The background color is not even indexed in the right position. What does all that mean? It means that in order to convert the submissions for other people into working palettes, you will need to use a lot of palette editing, moving color slots up and down in order to get a mugen compatible ACT file, and hope you or the palette submitter didn't fail or missed a single color. With the correct indexation and color separation, you extract the ACT palette directly from the submitted sprite, without requiring any processing or transformation
I was using the most recent template and didnt run into any weird color sharing issues. Besides, I wouldn't mind redoing my palettes again if you have to rearrange the colors or something (although the order seems fine to me IMO)EDIT: added moar palettes to my last post
i personally think this would work well as a medium punchhowever, you can have his elbow bend inwards sort of like a hook, and also have his right leg turn torwards the opponent( in this case turn right )just going to leave this hereedit: wait this is a light punch right?
I think his butt would turn a bit more and his feet movement should be swapped. His right foot would lift off it's heel onto it's ball, and his left would stay flat. Definitely dig it
