Some ninja dude. Yea...
The outlines should always be present, also in the skin.
Pin's edit doesn't take that into account for the viewer's left arm and part of the viewer's left pant. The lines are too broken, the old version (on the right) did it right.
Yes you're right, something that im not familiarized on the style since he give me a try on his sprites.
I guess that balmsold deserves the better one since he originates it

It dosen't matter on how you converted it, Something knowing the perspective and decide if it looks good will wont get you worried. And what is best there is you attempt it. Good job and keep it up

I'm not aware if you accept requests, but could you try Hitomi? She is my favorite DoA girl.
i think someone already did hitomi so im really aware on that.

I know that you going into, but sometimes we cant easily rely on references. From what i seen on sprites is had a neat details that didnt follow from other sprite. what i visualize on the sprite is what i did there and also giving a characteristics of a char is. i tried to make it new than we could see.. but anyways thanks for the tip, im glad this will be helpful to make better ways on spriting.

Also his feet is on the 3d positioning like on the orig sprite.(maybe)
Maybe i made him big because of the thickness i guess. Yea when it comes to it, ill try to make it better. I had some time to work it since this is the only free time that i had.

Can you show some of your working steps (it's always good to see how others make sprites)
Idk, there so many ways on making these sprites but maybe ill show one of my samples.
And here's the process.
Yeah, also i usually looking on references and that's what i do on spriting. Hope you liked it
