So far so good! Id like to see in gohan something like Vegeta´s rage mode, because the anime proves that gohan becomes very agressive when he is angry,so why not Agressive or violence mode? With a badass special attack?
Makes since, but this Gohan is already getting a super mode. The Z2 guys like to switch up their gameplay, and Vegeta already has a rage mode that we've seen. Besides, this char mostly focuses on his cool and confident side in Buu Saga.
Gohan looks pure and great in those last screenshots. My remix will sound great when he fights in battle.
Indeed, your remix will be featured in the next video, I've already played it (gotta test render that stuff) and sounds pretty dope !Gohan's on FIRE!
This is looking pretty good! I wonder if Gohan is gonna have a decent A.I., because Gohan looks done... I wonder what he's missing.
I was wondering if the Chō Masenkō would ever get an anti-air variation. I'm so mainlining the Masenkō with Gohan once he's released. And thanks for the progress update (even if it's minor).
Working on new effects for the Chou Kamehameha:2 sprites for the head of the beam to go, but it's looking promising. And yes I do think it looks better with the hands in front of the beam, rather then the beam covering them.
Balthazar said, May 06, 2014, 01:39:55 pmThanks, it's done now:kinda feels like it could be reversed and the tip could be the part where the hands connect.
Holy! that looks perfect! Its that going to replace previous chou kame effects? just for Gohan or for Goku too?
The idea was yes, to replace the current effects.Iced, I made it this way (the head of the beam overlapping the beam) because of the way it's coded.I would have rather mirrorred the beginning of the beam so it looks cleaner, but that way the beam would be too wide and it would look odd when you shot it at point-blank range. What I'm talking about: As you can see the first option puts too much distance between you and the enemy, would you indeed shoot it at point plank. The second option done with the new graphics looks alright. The 3rd is how it would look the way it's coded but with the head mirrorred, and as you can see it looks ugly that way (the graphic is designed to connect with a beam part, not to overlap anything and look good). But what you suggested to swap the start and the head of the thing could still work, though for now my preference goes to what I've shown here.Added your suggestion as the 4th image. Oh shit that might look better actually! Added a longer version as well (5th image).
If Cybaster is OK with it then yes, because this one obviously looks superior to the current effect. If we go with the 4th/5th option (which looks the best I think) it would need a slight recode (basicly just the spr. priority changed around).
Personally i prefer first option, since i think most of the beams represented in the show starts as a sphere:
