The "Its not perfect" thing was actually Ben Judd cocking up while translating for Inafune. That's like the one thing I can at least cut Inafune some slack for.
There was a sig here. Its gone now (thanks photobucket ya fecks)

Konami's trying to break into the video game market now?  And they best they can come up with is a Left 4 Dead clone with a Kojima IP pasted on top?  They should just stick to pachinko.

the only positive i can get from this is that konami put together a decent enough development team that maybe also finished up mgsv (at least mission 52) hence the "definitive edition" that has been popping around

metal gear umbrella corps/federation force is a really bad idea though

As someone who played the shit outta MGO and really appreciated the FOX Engine, this piques my interest from a technical and gameplay standpoint.

But as a full game package it's a terrible idea, and the trailer is SO. BAD.

You gotta give credit to Konami. All they had to do to get back their fans was to use the Fox Engine and just remake the MSX MG games, or remake MGS3 (They already have the assets thanks to the pachiiiiiinko game), or make DLC for TPP, but nooooooooope!

Gotta go all the way in and instead make an alternative universe (!) game that happens at the end of GZ (!!) where you play as a common soldier (!!!) and you along with some of the survivors are sucked by a wormhole coming out of nowhere (!!!!) and you all end up landing in a weirdass wasteland (!!!!!) and you now have to fight against not-zombies (!!!!!!) because reasons.

Seems that I have to skip both games, they just don't look right for me.

Lol the Metal Gear trailer has almost 27k dislikes right now and just 4k likes.^^
