Oh, i know that you're working on another char, but any plans on the other Puella Magi girls?

 Thank you, glad that you find her fun to play. If you find any issues, do report them. It always makes the character better whenever I can fix anything.

 Also, I most likely consider Homura as the next PMMM character, probably after I finish Akyuu.

 Another small correction that was overlooked.

 Fixed mid-air jump to not occur during states that it shouldn't be able to work in.

 What has been fixed?

- Increased start-up time and minimal height threshold of all air dashes.
- Decreased hitstun on all air normals.
- Made it so that after 20 hits, air normals have increased corner pushback.
- Burst fixed to always face opponent on use.
- Fixed Affetuoso's positioning for P2 in custom state; it should be more consistent in multiple resolutions now.
- New portrait (previous one wasn't as good as previously thought).
- Fixed P1 and P2's positioning during Grandioso.
- Arioso cancels are made more lenient in timing for more consistent comboing.
- Fixed custom state for j.2z's hit after a ground bounce.

 Edit: Also, accidentally removed the time value for the level 3 KO palfx, restored that now too.

 Alright, spent most of my afternoon tending to this crucial issue and finally got it resolved. Decided to take the advice from both @Odb718 and @DeathScythe, which turned out perfectly. Tested it on different resolutions and got consistent results from it. Thanks a lot, you two, this means a lot to me since it was a major itch on my back.

 P2 is the one being accelerated off screen and decelerated to come back on screen so they can land right in front of P1, giving the illusion that P2 was sent flying and chased after by P1. P1 is always at the center of the screen throughout the entire cinematic. I essentially want a consistent distance regardless of resolution, but I don't have much experience with the gamewidth trigger to really know what to do for with it for velsets and possets.

 I'll just post the code regardless.

Was the Midare Setsugekka your idea or was it taken from the original character?

 Taken from the original, although it's function is a little different in the sense it has more use as a full screen crossing reversal with less start-up similar to UMvC3 Frank West's Survival Techniques.

 Greetings, this will be my second MUGEN character now that Sayaka has been released this week (and soon to get an update herself). Introducing Hieda no Akyuu, Child of Miare and the Chronicler of Gensokyo! This character will be using neneco's sprites and a few sounds as a basis, but she is otherwise being made from the ground up. Her fighting style will be drastically different from Sayaka in spite of sharing the same base gameplay mechanics, starting out weak and progressively improving in combat the more she levels up as indicated by the Level 1 on the screenshot. Currently, Akyuu i roughly 60% complete.

 I hear gamewidth is a SCTRL used to compensate for this kind of thing, but my experience with using it has been very limited beyond placing HUD based explods at an absolute screen coordinate relative to zoom. Never really used it for velsets and veladds before, so it would be nice to have some pointers to go about this

I've noticed that if she uses her burst while she's facing away from her opponent, then the opponent will be launched towards her rather than away from her.

You may want to add something like this to prevent that from happening.

This way, she'll immediately turn to face the opponent, which causes the burst to launch the opponent in the right direction.

What if there are opponents as in plural, and they're surrounding her?

But then again, coding for Simul...

 She doesn't work too well in Simul Mode due to her coding working under the presumption of a 1-on-1 environment anyway. Examples being that her damage scaling not functioning at all and ignoring her built in juggling system when in Simul.

 Anyway, I got a fair amount of feedback in and out of MFG, so, I'll have a busy week updating the character to fix her issues. Keep up the feedback, it makes the character better every time I fix her.
    

Velset/Veladd Resolution Compensation

 Hit another snag. On standard MUGEN 1.0 resolution, the velsets and veladds for a cinematic custom state work as intended. However, when done in zoomed stages found in 1.1, the positions end up being off by a few times more than intended. The screenshot someone else took is an example of what I mean when the positioning is meant to be next to be directly underneath Sayaka's sword.



 I can post the full code if it's required to get an idea of what it should look like.
