- How did you rip the sprites ? Did you take screenshots in Jpeg or something like that ? If you look at the stance alone, you can see many jpeg artifacts and strange colors (there's even some pink it seems). I suggest you use AnimGet to capture animations.I used a program called Video game sildeshow; it basically takes a photo of the desktop every second. I used it because it was easy and it got the job done. I guess it was bad judgement on my part; i'll try to fix it and i'll look up the AnimGet program.
- Some sprites seem misaligned. For example, he's standing one or two pixels too high, making his shadow not touch him. His jumping back is very bad.I thought that the sprites had to be on top of the hoziontal line of the cross. Oh well, it should be easy to fix to say the least. I know the jump is very bad; I've been meaning to fix it but never got around to it.
- There's infinite priority on your moves. On basic attacks especially, you have to somehow cover the red boxes with blue boxes. Look at this tutorial for more info : http://www.kod.trinitymugen.net/My mistake, I will fix it.
- Missing required sprites.I think I might not have the sprites labeled correctly. I'm pretty sure I have all the required sprites, but I am new at this so i will have to look into it.
- The small portrait has palette problems in-game. And don't use borders please, it looks bad IMOI noticed that too, I'll redo it and see what happens because I thought did the palette in the correct way. Just so you know, without borders there would be illegel mexicans coming in non stop.
- I'm sure you can find a better large portrait.I guess I could check devient art for something or get one of my friends to draw something.
- Intro is really strange, he appears from nowhereIn the game Xenogears, when you enter a battle, you jump in from off screen. I tried to simulate that but it didn't work out. Oh well I'll change it.
- His width is too big (press Ctrl+D, ctrl+C to see the yellow line. This will allow to see your CLSNs too). It should go from one foot to the other.Alright that seems easy to fix.
- For red CLSNs during attacks, it's better to make the red boxes go straight to the middle of the body rather than just the fist/foot.
- Why do all air basics make him go down to the ground fast, stopping his x and y velocities? That's not natural at all.I have no idea why that happens. I didn't code it that way, it just sort of happened. Also I can't seem to fix it either, do you have any ideas why that would happen because i'm stumped .
- Remove the shadows from the FX (Guided Shot for example).Alrighty, consider it done.
- You have to add a limiter to Guided Shot. You shouldn't be able to launch more than one at the time. It's cheap, and results in infinitesI understand what you mean but I have no idea how to do it. I'll look for some tutorials online.
- Usually, for Guided shot, light punch would be for slow and light damage, strong punch for fast and more damage. Your choice however.Man I don't even know what I was on when I did that, man that was stupid.
- Hitsparks are misaligned, but this will come later, no big deal.I'll fix it when I get the hitsparks I want.
- Hagen could have different angles of attack, would be coolI'll look in to doing that. Maybe.
- Koho is not done correctly. To dodge attacks, rather than not putting CLSN boxes, you have to use the NotHitBy sctrl. If you don't mind me asking; does it really matter if I do it my way or yours if the result is the same. Not to be rude, I'm just asking if the results would differ. If so then I'll change it.
- Chikei has cornerpush, and gets pushed back when performed in the corner. That's not natural eitherOk but again I don't know how to fix it. Back to the tutorials.
Whoa, that was a lot of shit that I did wrong . I guess it's because I'm a noob but still it's kind of unsettling.
Anyway thanks for the valuable feedback. I hope that I'll get better and make Fei awesome. Thanks again.
