I'm glad you keep the idea of the original game, that would be awesome to see it recrerated on MUGEN. About keeping to use Demitri over Morrigan as the original plan is, keep in mind there were improved sprites of him (rescaling him from CFJ + some edited ones from SVC in DS style) that you should use... not sure if it was made by Dampir or someone else

Most likely I'll pay for someone to make the sprites. But as far as I know, we don't have a lot of footage for them, or at least not very good quality footage. I may have to just invent new movelists whole cloth for them, since that might be easier on the whole than peering at crappy camera footage trying to discern what the hell is going on.
I was thinking in that for long time and even I spat the idea on Discord, but the CVS versions of K' (by Dampir, of course) and Benimaru could be the perfect models for D.D and Rook respectively- with K' making a CS so he can get black hair and the red clothes and Benimaru with his long hair going down as in his intro (maybe adding it from Remy, for example), both with a couple of edition could make the perfect chars. This could be perfect sense since various of CFAS developers were ex-SNK people, so probably get ideas from KOF for those chars, think about it ;)

This is Jose Cuervo's YT channel, this guy makes a lot of 3D chars for MUGEN, MK included, so you can probably find also his version of Scorpion and other MK chars from 9, and even from X

I'm agree with Wou, all the images are with Saitama looking to the front and even some are with AI's typical mistakes (there's a Saitama with 3 legs... and it isn't a double entendre joke). I don't see any usable material to ensemble a good SFF to make Saitama for MUGEN. I hope you can do it anyway, but for me this should be in Idea Engineering instead here

I got a close experience about this. I got a kid of 8yo and I shown him about MUGEN and all its potential. He was just happy that his dad makes stuff for that, but it wasn't until my game he got interested. He loves stop motion as me and he loved ClayFighter: infinite Clayfare even when he didn't known previously about this game series. But he loved the game and when we're together (I'm separated, sadly), we always play to IC and he liked a lot the characters, at the point to know them in their original games

So yeah, maybe MUGEN could be a good experience for children, especially for those ones who doesn't know much about fighting games as much of us here... and could work for them as for some of us that we couldn't play the latest games until people made adaptations of characters, stages and all the content to ensemble ourselves the games

Today I was thinking about this project, mostly in how the new base has to be made (for characters, not the engine... yet), since the gameplay aspects to the FXs (not sure if keep using Breakers FX or changing them). However, I made a little poll, since I don't decide yet which one to use (it was originally M1.0 Final when i created the thread), so tell me in which one would you like to see it

And before you say it... no, they're not mods as in other recent games, they're legit custom skins for T8 chars

This makes me even more excited to play this game and it's another reason to get a PS5 and/or Xbox Series to get it

This is a good idea indeed, but there're already some compilations fullgames that also are called as CFAS with that premise. I would like to see a real 2D adaptation of CFAS sometime, since all fighters from the cancelled game (except the other 2 protagonists apart of Ingrid) were already made for MUGEN and can make the roster, like Haggar, Poison, Batsu and Akira already sprited by other creators, just need to make a good and solid base and then using the sprites and you can do it.

BTW the new roster you want also looks great, good luck with this, I hope you can achieve something for MUGEN, would be awesome ;)

My mistake, when I reuploaded Kiln to my site, I reuploaded the Beta version again XD thanks to a YT user I found out that and now I reuploaded the completed version of Kiln in my site. Sorry for the inconveniences ;P

I'm not familiar with IKEMEN just because I prefer old technology (those who know me got it since a lot of time ago), but even I can say that this thread was made for bait only. As I say, I'm not familiar with it, but I can't deny that this is very advanced level and a step forward to MUGEN world, so treat it as OP says is a disrespect not just to creators who made IKEMEN and work on it but normal users who prefer it over normal MUGEN

I know it, but I'm not familiar with Ikemen, maybe could be a good option after all, that will be seen...

By now, I'm gonna work in one of the clones to make him something more solid and the base for the others, since the previous base resulted not to be reliable after all. Expect some advances soon

Well, finally Guild's server is working again to upload stuff, so after getting in my site Dr. Kiln, ClayFighter Ryu and SneezeTHPS' Blob (the original version, not the Infinite Clayfare ver.) as well uploading 3 new stages (including the unreleased Santa's Workshop being only on Beta 2), I updated the WIP page with the 3 projects I'll make for 2024: T-Hoppy (in previous post) and those 2:



So yeah, now it's official those 3 are WIPs of mine. Expect to see them during this year ;) and of course, an update for ClayFighter Ryu, which is necessary TBH
