are you sure you have made the palette correctly? and applied the images to the palette.

also when you add the animations "add group to air" or "add air" sometimes FF creates a blank frame check for blank frames.

other than that i havent a clue

yes it works but you wasnt supposed to copy all the triggers lol

like p2bodydist x >= 80, that was just for my specific character, i wanted him to do his projectile when p2 was greater than or equal to 80 on his X distance.

random <=99 means just a higher percentage chance of the AI doing the move....you need to add more moves to AI so it doesnt just do this move all the time.

this is my method of AI and it works for me many people have different methods as well as this.

first of all go to commands and you can copy and paste this if you want its a list of impossible commands that only the cpu can do

Then what you need to do is make your AI trigger which requires setting a variable. If you copied and pasted the previous code then you can do the same for this..

ok now basically you can add triggers to your -1 states for the move or copy and past the move and add to it, ill show you an example

the first code is the move that doesnt have any AI to it

notice triggerall = var(7) !=1  this means that AI isnt activated on this move and triggers.

now what i did was copied and pasted the move and added a different trigger

[state -1, plasmaAI]
type = ChangeState
value = 777
triggerall = var(7)
triggerall = !Win
triggerall = StateType  != A
triggerall = P2BodyDist X >= 80
triggerall = StateType = S
trigger1 = ctrl
trigger1 = Random <= 30

triggerall = var(7) so now  AI is activated on this move.
trigger1 = random <= 30   this gives the AI i think a less than 30% chance of doing this move

i make sure that trigger1 = ctrl and i use the same trigger1 to use the random trigger becuase it doesnt loop the move.

ok for a strong punch im adding an explod thats a blood effect,
but say i position it like -10, -86 near his mouth

what happens if i hit the opponent with that move while they are in the air?   is there a way of disabling the blood effect in the air.

also im making an intro, and i made a bolt of lightning near p2 but the problem is when opening mugen in Fighter factory p2 is the same character as me so it plays the same animation.....is there a way of disabling p2 during intro?

at this point im not trying to code a throw, but a while ago i did code a throw and it worked just the opponent dissapeared.

After reading your response it seems that the problem is not having the required 5000+ sprites.

i now realise this was the problem, which seems such a simple but common mistake.

Here is a problem alot of people including myself are having.... the problem is a THROW move.
i can successfully grab and throw the opponent, but why does the opponent dissapear during the whole throw?(apart from the land)
and is it something to do with not having certain axis points like this


(Not sure if i uploaded the images correctly)
if the pic isnt there ill explain...... kfm has an crosshair near his feet (normal) then for the same sprite near his stomach, then same again near his head.(for the get hit sprite) does not having these make a difference to making a successful throw?

pausetime = 2, 20   p2 is stunned long enough on each hit to make the 10 hits in the combo

hi i just made a super combo, 10 hits to be exact, but the problem is the hits arent registering propperlly on the left hand side in the game window, my character does a light punch, light kick, strong punch 3 times to make 9 hits(every hit is in a different state)
then a final uppercut to knock the opponent in the air....it does that fine but the hits say 3hit combo in the game window, why is this?
is it because im using the same 3 hits 3 times, i thought this wouldnt matter because im using a new statedef number per hit.
do i need to add hit add or something.

just had a great tip from K.O.D

to use a super BG picture, send character into custom state and use angle draw to draw around the pic and make it bigger

not sure how to use angle draw tho but cool advice.

ok im making a new original character, lol it looks like an amplifier type shape with 3 buttons red green blue....well ive animated a button being pressed and at this point i want the screen to zoom in on the character is there a way i can do this?

i know its possible ive never tried it before.
