God Rugal 3.0

[The Lord of the Flies]

So, a while back, when I was getting started, I made a God Rugal and profited from it .

Then I made another character, started a third one, did some stages.

But then I went into lurker-mode.

NAO, with this new mugen version (and other motivations for me), I've decided to remake all my previous characters (err there's only two) and finish the third one, which I'm not gonna post crap about it so none pressures me and stuff HAHA.

For now, God Rugal, since I'm a Rugal fanboy.

Finished making the basics, so now it's in "punching-bag" state. I'll begin coding the basic attacks and stuff this weekend. Also, I'm aiming to make every FX of the characters hi-res and colour-modificable, just like many other creators out there.

ALSO, how would you optimize this sprite (and its subsequent animation) to look kewl and stuff? I don't know much about this graphic stuff, so a little help would be great.

God Rugal 3.0 eh? I'm guessing he be more stronger and cheaper than the other God Rugal? Also, is he going to have anything different?

I never liked the Dead End Screamer much despite liking Rugal, but I figure that move could be improved looks-wise if it involved more obvious Gato-like neck-snapping and less actual silly spinning. With Gouki's killer intent thin going on, I'd figure he'd go for the blunt, brutal approach.

I'm saying try not to make it so cvs2 accurate..because warusaki has that belt lol..jk jk.
But imo try making him different then all the other rugals out there. Like add dead end screamer if you can. Or change up his sgs. also adding that combo he had in kof were he would feed the opponent some punches then end off with a genocide cutter..i forgot the name of that move though!!

Well, after having to remake almost all my CMD and CNS files, I've managed to make some progress on this guy. Things should get easier from now on. Oh, and please don't expect an AI in its first release. First, I want to have a solid character with nice FX and good gameplay.

Btw, does this Reppuken look good enough? I mean, the "hi-resed" I did myself to it, etc.

Gonna start up with the specials in these days. Except for the Reppuken which I already made .

I'd love to do that AND also separate the colors from his shirt and hair. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make the color separation thing . So unless someone gives me a tutorial or does it for me, there won't be  .

Dunno about the Dead End Screamer, IMO, Rugal looks...stupid doing that. Maybe I'll think of something that looks good enough.
