and as for my remark, i actually remembered the shock anim as being a black empty silhouette. but i just checked zweifuss site, and that cleared things up for me.

You can't prove/disprove anything related to Q's origin. As you know, he's based on characters by Yokoyama (Giant Robo), Tezuka (Metropolis) and Ishinomori (Robot Detective Keiji). One is a masked guy/girl, another one is a cyborg, another one is a robot... So he could be either, heck he could be an alien or a being from another dimension if Capcom states it in SF5 or whatever.

They made everything concerning him vague and uncertain for a reason, because that's the character's trait, that's Q himself.

We've seen art of him with blond locks coming out the bottom back section of his head piece before. I think the large over all 3S art, not the character specific one.
