Ugh, Tekken 6's story is like Heroes Season 3.

anyways i finally had time to play today, started around 11:00 pm ended at 1:30 am, lol @daylight savings, i thought it was the weed that was fucking with me

First,i start off like any person would, in arcade mode. Breezed through it with king till i faced some thing called nancy whatever. This machine had so much fucking life.. i was making a come back towards the end(side step +2kicks) which was working till he made a gap on the floor and i fell to my death lol. Ok so i failed the bonus stage so i was like whatever it sucked anyways. Faced jin who was easy pff newb. First round with azazel.. man hes like a 10x version of true ogre.. seriously i wanted to rage quit so bad. Second round i came back but still lost. Took me a total of 3 tries(which really screwed with my win/lose ratio) to finally beat him perfect in the second round lol. I was real mad when i didn't see a story end.. i figured it didn't achieve it because i lost against azazel so many time. So i played again with paul, breezed through it like before. Till i faced nancy again.. almost fucking beat it but dude.. this thing made me fall to my death again .__. . beat crappy sub boss jin easily. I faced azazel this time with ease thank god for boa i swear. So i hadn't lost once through that arcade run(except for the bonus round with nancy, doubt it counts) and i still didn't see a story.. So i was like fuck that shit yo and played acouple of versus with my friends. Paul is still beast with his moves. Hate how some of his moves changed like the qcb(or whatever you call the Star term in tekken) low kick plus triangle(mid punch) doesn't make the opponent fall at all, but thats my only complaint with paul. King got me somewhat upset, not his moveset tho im still able to do his massive combo grapple ive been able to do since tekken tag, but his voice is different. Ive been used to his old leopard sounds now he sounds kinda weird.. dunno how to describe it :/ also his tail doesn't move like it did in the past tekken games lol. My major complaint tho so far is with law.. man his whole moves are different they dont even feel like the same law ive been using since tekken 2. Also his new voice is gay.. whats up with that? his old sounds since tekken 2 were the shit. Also no mustache my friend pointed that out i laughed. Then i played campaign mode or what ever.. the summarization of all the tekkens were cool and all. but the cut scenes took forever.. i think it was like 20 minutes till i finally go to play as lars. Who fucking sucks jeez i kept getting my ass kicked with this guy. Thank god you can pick another character from the start.
And thats all ive done since i played. Oh yea i finally figured out how to unlock prologues and story ends for characters, apparently you have to get past a certain point in campaign till you see an arena unlocked, select it and its like a mini arcade mode, but with prologues and story ends for the character you use. I played with king, saw his story at the end but thanks to byakko it didn't mean much to me because i already knew armor king had a brother, thanks.

@ Luis: Yeah Law seems to have changed. And his voice seems the same if you ask me just a tad louder.

I recently saw some gameplay with Bruce and man is he brutal! He's on my main list for sure.

Naw man I know law. He's one of my three mains since ever. He lost all his cool sounds like when you do back triangle x o. Its not the same he lost that cool sound when he does his flips, the one that sounds lik he's saying hotdog real fast like andy bogard.

Yeah I've noticed the flip sound but not many others. I seriously need to buy the old tekkens cause I don't know whats the whole story and I can't tell the difference in sounds. I used to rent the games you see and ever since they stopped PS2 games from Block Buster I lost all my old fighting games (Yep I never owned them just rented the hell out of them).

I miss getting free rentals   The only Tekken game I own is Tekken 1...

pretty sure it was proper punctuation. If you didn't bother to read it than i understand, im not forcing people to so back off.

anyways, i got to play the game more today:
Played ghost battle mode, which was sad really the ai isn't as tough as it was in tekken 5 dr. I beat a tekken lord as if it were nothing. Went all the way to 1st dan(42-8 win/lose ratio, 8 loses didn't come from the ghost battles but from story mode against azazel and nancy ughh) got tired and kept playing campaign mode. Once i unlocked paul i boad my way all the way to heihaichi and thats when i started to get bored lol. Seriously they really need to fix the camera angles in the game, gets fucking confusing especially when alisa dumbass dies to early and your facing 10+ enemies at once.

Overrall the game is fun with alot of things to do, the load times which took forever seemed to have gotten smaller and azazel isn't that big of a deal anymore(my friend beat him with FAWANG with ease i was just looking at him like wtf dude <.<)

Wait until you finish the campaign mode once and unlock the Nightmare Train. The name of the level says it all - I have pretty good equipment (+~300 health, +52% damage, +40 fire damage...) and I still get my ass wiped. It's the one that has Devil Jin.
Good thing that the endings get unlocked at random after a while, because I don't really feel like going through the arena with everyone, considering how much time the campaign already takes without even touching the arena.

Get enough health and decent fire and thunder equips, poke (or if King, giant swing) constantly, and once you get to Devil Jin, go past him, snatch the machine gun, aim for the side of the train, and BLAM. Took me 3 minutes to beat it.

Those who spent 8 hours on this make me wonder if they ever thought of this at all.

Press start, customize, select character, select model, and see that the various equipment parts you've been unlocking while playing gives you various stat boost, even stuff like the glasses can give good boosts. Health increase, defense increase, elemental defense, elemental damage... If you've been defeating Kazuya and Azazel with the base health bar and no damage boost, that's nuts.

+250 health, +90 damage, fairly good Ice equip, Lili still can't get there.  I think the major problem is Alisa dying and Lili getting gangraped by 10 gargoyles in the corner before she can get to reviving her.

EDIT: Never mind.  Got a lucky break with the minigun, and it tore the prick apart.

I used Law my first time. All he had was Health +101, Fire Attack 20 and Thunder Attack 16%; beat the stage in 3 minutes, Alisa dead right before Devil Jin, which in all took 15 seconds at most.
Second time, I used Yoshimitsu with no equips at all; took me about the same time and Alisa was dead within the first 2 minutes.
Had I given Yoshi anything, he would have utterly destroyed the stage because his Slap U Silly is about as deadly as a multipoke can be for Scenario Mode.
