Final Fight 3 SNES Haggar Video Preview!!!

Hey there.
I've started a new project, Final Fight 3 Haggar. He'll be alot like the original from the game but, with tweeks to make him right for Mugen RC. His effects and sounds will be of different games because in Final Fight 3 he never really had any sounds and effects, lol. One of his key features will be his grapple which you can move around WHILE grappling the enemy.

Zzzz... I always get mixed up with that. I even buyed the wrong game once when I wanted Final Fight...
I'll correct that, lol.
Still, I really don't why I get that wrong! I've played 2 of the final fight games so, I shouldn't get that mix up.

I have that full game in my hardrive so I'll probably have a look at him. BTW That game was full of win

That´s a interesting wip, even though I always wished a decent Street Fighter Alpha rendition of Haggar instead of the horrible Zangief edit. By the way, if you putted a globe above Haggar´s hands in your avatar, then he would reminds Atlas from the greek mithology, lol

So I've completed the grapple, including the walk forward and back. All I got to do now is the grapple moves. A bit of credit goes to Byakko for some help on coding this.


Ignore that debug stuff, it's just saying my character only has 1 palette.

Really? I actually though I coded real slow. It took me 3 hours to get that grapple right.

Do you know how to do the movehit? If no, then with this code you can do combos like the original game. I´ve added that in Master Huang which is my most recent wip.

Could you explain a bit more. I dunno what you really mean by move hit.

For example you hit the foe with x, then press x again and Haggar will do another jab on the foe. So if you press x once more, Haggar will finish with a hammer smash. It´s like when you´re doing combos in the original game.

Yeah, I added that in my character to make him like he is in final fight 3. Also I think it's really great because it stops you from having to use seperate buttons for moves which free's button space.
Nice to see another person using it aswell.

Also, you can tap other buttoms to continue the combo like y and z as well.
For it, use it: command = "x" || command = "y" || command =  "z"

Hmm, you could add Haggar´s daughter in the win poses. She appear in Slam Masters for SNES if I´m not wrong. By the way, any plans for Helpers like former FF3 characters to help in super combos or sort?

I was going to make other seperate FF3 characters so I'm not gonna make helpers.
I got a snes emulator so I'll rip the sprites from the game.
