hi, i got a wii and i installed the homebrew channel, now i don't know what to do, should i format the SD card? How do i install apps, new channels and emulators? D:

i read a lot of guides and i don't know what to do D: it doesn't say anything about formating the SD card after installing the homebrew channel, what about the update? it's almost finished, will it kill my wii? (·_. )?

Never update if you are going to homebrew.

Google wiihacks and go to their forum, you have to register to download stuff, but if you check out their tutorial section it tells you everything very neatly. Even with youtube vids.

They have 1 pack that has everything you need to put on the SD card.

i think it updated to 4.1U or something :s i managed to install wiiearth but i can't use wadmanager because it freezes, and how do i install opera on this thing? D:

Register, watch the videos, follow the instructions. Be sure to READ/WATCH and UNDERSTAND everything before you actually follow the rules. Especially when it involves your firmware!

You're lucky to get help, I wish I could repair my Wii, since it doesn't take in disks anymore because my puppy practically ruined it. And I can't ship it to get it fixed because of the mod-chip inside.
