KAMEN RIDER!

Garou: Mark of the Wolves was a great fighter for its time. It is one of my favorite games of all time. Apparently when Garou: Mark of the Wolves was released, their was a plan for a sequel... So after a long time waiting, where the hell is the sequel?

Perhaps SNK is much too occupied with King of Fighters to really take much time for their other franchises, except maybe Samurai Showdown.

Fighting games were on a decline. No one really gave a shit about them, so SNK didn't waste their time. Here's a picture for you to cry over:

I'd rather just have them make a new metal slug then this...
Snk pls stop jerking off on KOF and make sequels to the games that made you famous...

KOF IS their most popular property.

I sort of worded it wrong in my previous post woops :P

I've been playing metal slug nonstop this week. I would love a sequel in 2.5D. Perhaps even as DLC.

It'd be nice if there were a Garou sequel, but I believe SNK just isn't capable of creating that many games at once. They need to invest more in 3D to be more competitive me thinks.

Tsunamidusher

I personally did like Garou's art style over Third strike, at the time.

Mostly because the background stages were just magnificent.

And they really should make a Samurai Shodown 7.
Complete with death because SS6 didn't have that style factor all the other ones had.

I cried.
And Mr. Karate?

And for a while, I thought that both Capcom and SNK gave up on fighting games and made their last masterpieces (at the time).
Which happened to be 3rd Strike and Garou, respectively.

And now Capcom arises with SF4/SSF4/TVC/MVC3/SFvTK
SNK really needs to man up and make a new Fatal Fury game, just because there's a SF4 now.

They already made a new athena game, though an ikari warriors sequel would be better than that sissy metal slug game.

Ryo with tengu the mask on. I'm not surprised someone has the cartridge, considering the game was 70% complete.

Apparently, the game itself isn't cancelled. It just been "on hold" for five years.

Well shit.

I'm sure there IS an incomplete cartridge out there somewhere.

Keku

Probably, as I believe that too. However, I'm surprised.
A prototype normally shouldn't last this long in secrecy.

If you go back far enough in their history, that's be Ikari Warriors.
I'm not sure how I'd feel if they picked that up and made it an FPS (since those tend to be somewhat popular among more mainstream gamers), after using its characters in Metal slug too...

luis2345

i would like to see a FPS with grappling, V slashes and stuff

Fatal Fury's 20th anniversary is next year. Maybe SNK has something planned... and hopefully it's not another Pachinko game.
